Be aware that with Spyderco, if you need a 50 cent bushing for your knife pivot, you will have to send your knife back (paying shipping both ways) and pay to have it replaced. They will not simply ship you the part you need. I have a Domino with the paper thin cheap bushing that fails and it will cost me $35 to fix a $1 worth in parts. Their customer service is crap! Save your money and buy Chinese knives from good Chinese companies like Kizer or Land, they make quality products for a reasonable price.
ОтветитьId choose spyderco of benchmade any day. Im not a big fan of benchmades designs or their prices.
ОтветитьThis video is kinda obsolete in 2024 para 3 is is almost 40% more expensive for the base model
ОтветитьJust recently got the bugout with s90v and g10 scales used in very good condition for 90 bucks . Put a new edge on it and polished up the washers + general maintenance.
In the pocket 2 weeks now and it's in use every day . 1st it was a bit on the thin side but it's ok.
For food prep is just awesome , better then the delica imho. The blade thickness and the length just enough for cutting up man food 😊 . Still behind the military tho 😊.
For general edc is always depends on own preferences.
For me it's doing well . My previous edc blades : presidio 2 mini , para 3 ltw spy27 , para 2 s45vn , manix ltw cts bd1 , griptilian sheeps f. 154cm , delica vg10, endura vg10, recon 1 carpenter ect . and the military is there all day every day 😊.
For 90 i am totaly satisfied and happy. I would be for 150 brand new but far as i checked the same config runs brand new for up to 240 . For that no thanks not even with lifetime no question warranty & guarantee. But as much as I paid , I am loving it so far.
I have 2 paramilitaries. Very nice knives But the best spider CO out. Is the police edition I prefer Fully serrated.
ОтветитьYou get more knife for the money with the spyderco, and more variety of steels to pick from. The benchmade wins in ease of carry though, very slim in the pocket
ОтветитьI have benchmade bugout, and the bailout. I ordered a para 3, and after I changed the pocket clip, was surprised that it’s taken over as my every day carry. Love the Para 3!
ОтветитьI have the same SMKW Bugout. I love the M4 which is why I got it. I prefer my m4 para 3 lw, which I’m carrying today.
Ответитьexcellent comparison vid, thanks for posting this !
ОтветитьI like the PM2, but I just can't get myself to fall in love with the Para 3. I seldom carry 3" or less blades to start with, but you loose a lot of cutting edge because of the choil. It's comfortable in hand, but just not enough blade for my taste. Therefore, the Bugout would be my choice, but obviously that choice comes with a bigger price tag. To each their own though. I'm certainly not knocking anyone who likes the Para 3. We all have different tastes and needs, and we all use our knives differently. It's good that there are so many great options available today. No matter your taste, no matter your budget, there's a knife out there for everyone.
ОтветитьNever had either but both seem pretty well done. Great comparison 👍
ОтветитьIf it is a weight issue, go with the Para 3 lightweight in spy-27 or another steel variant. I’m extremely happy with my Para 3 lightweight in SPY-27.
ОтветитьNever owned a bugout, but the M4 bailout is basically what made me sell off most of my para 3 collection.
The para 3 kicked my Nakamura out of my pocket, then the bailout kicked the para 3 out of my pocket.
The Bugout is the only Benchmade I've bought in different variations until the recent Mini Freek. Spyderco for me as you probably already know! Thanks for posting
ОтветитьBoth great EDC choices and can't go wrong with either. Benchmade seems overpriced in g10. Your better off with a base model if you can get past the cheap feeling plastic with no liners. Personally, the Para 3 wins all day. Its a better value in g10, same brand level recognition, and good ergos. If you want you can spend more and get many different premium steel options. Not needed, but nice to have that option.
ОтветитьI have literally, a handful of each of these guys. They’re the ones that are constantly battling for a place in my pocket. It doesn’t matter what scales I put on them or what “space metal” they’re made of, they each have their own specialty. The Bugout is great in the pocket and the Para3 is great in the hand.
Love the videos! Love the Spyderco content! Keep doin it, brother!
I’d take two LW Para 3’s to the cost of one Bugout. Para cuts better all day long. I’ve owned both.
ОтветитьI take the Spyderco any day!
Ответитьgreat vid!
ОтветитьGot the Glidr co arctic!
ОтветитьHi!
ОтветитьBoth look great!! I still have to watch the video lol but keep up the hard work!
