such a beautiful raw sound! but it is not the instruments, amps and engineering only - it is this energy of these young "hippie" bands..
ОтветитьSimon Kirke does minimalist drumming so well. There is a lot of feel to his drumming, and he is so INTO it.
ОтветитьHow this was created by 21 year old and under kids unreal. They wonder whats wrong with kids today its this, IMO the onlty vision most young people have today is fame and money and the latest viral video. In the 50's and 60's and 70's kids had a vision and a goal but money and fame were secondary, it became primary in a lot and thats why they broke up or tragedy struck. But for the most part it was all about the music and the enjoyment of connecting with bandmates and the audience. That was it. Everything else came after. Some of the best music ever made by humans was in this era by mostly young adults and teenagers.
ОтветитьHey boomers!
Go check out some Pat Travers.
Forget about him?
Another great bassist and metal drummer.
What a horrid performance. Geez.
ОтветитьThe back of the speakers have Juicy Lucy written on them I saw them live at Bridlington Spa, England, in 1970. One of their speakers or amp exploded and caught fire. About 8 of us went, all on motorbikes. Happy days !!
ОтветитьThe syncopation of Free live is like a finely crafted Swiss time piece--dead on the money. They are the standard bearer.
ОтветитьPaul kossoff!.... Tone
ОтветитьRIP the two members of Free
Paul Kossoff (September 14, 1950 – March 19, 1976), aged 25
Andy Fraser (July 3, 1952 – March 16, 2015), aged 62
You both will be remembered as legends.
i can't believe i never heard this song before maybe i don't know t o d infinity chapter 8
ОтветитьkIrke holding all together with his drumming. Im sure it was not an easy job with these other playful guys 🙂
Ответитьso orginal and groovie rock. ( sorry bout my Spellliing )
Ответитьjimminy cricket wow
ОтветитьFabulous Fabulous!!!!
ОтветитьEsto es magia 😮😮😮😮😮
ОтветитьOoooohhh yeah !!
ОтветитьThey're so comfortable in the groove and in the performance, amazing. When you're so good at your instruments, and so vibing the material that every touch of the strings is magic.
ОтветитьA sad end for a brilliant and talented guitarist! This song often drives me to tears for the way it is played , yet for the loss of Paul kossoff. Rest in peace🙏😰
ОтветитьChe epoca musisciti veri bravi
ОтветитьA good band that became a great band. From Free to Bad Company!
ОтветитьSo underrated. Paul Kossoff just blows me away!
ОтветитьOne of the best bands ever. They had it all. Best rhythm section, singer and guitarist!
ОтветитьU don't need to say that your Bartle doooo
ОтветитьAndy Fraser bass and that damned vibrato from Koss. Never bettered.
ОтветитьGreat Bass. Andy Fraser..
ОтветитьThey were a bloody tight band!! Great performance by all of them
ОтветитьI feel this all the way down in my toes. Love this!!!
ОтветитьBig fan of Orange Amplification and Celestian V30 and many others.
Ответитьhow are those people just sitting there?
ОтветитьThe greatest live nd I have ever seen. Great on record, but unbelievable brilliant on stage.
ОтветитьNatural pure voice❤
ОтветитьThis album was just one long song. Notice I said song not songs. They are all pretty much the same song with different lyrics. Mr. Big, Ride On Pony, All Right Now….talented band but limited song writing ability. Compare that to other bands of the day, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath., Deep Purple etc.. much broader song writing and instrumentation abilities, especially Zeppelin album to album always different and always exceptional.
ОтветитьIs “Juicy Lucy” a type of amp? Not a musician but have seen the term used before…
ОтветитьMesmerizing .masterful. archetypical quartet. Love the rural imagery of " riding on a pony in the middle of the night". The kid from the mountain . Living "a hundred miles from town".
Ответитьgreat stuff
ОтветитьCada vez que escuto o Free fico impressionado com a qualidade musical dos então, garotos de vinte anos. É incrível como tocavam bem e cantar então, nem se fala.
ОтветитьPaul Rodgers can sing a dictionary and it would sound F’ing awesome
ОтветитьI keep saying I'm surprised Debbie you ride the pony that hard
ОтветитьAndy was a Mayall Bluesbreaker @ 15.
ОтветитьGo ed Paul 🔥
ОтветитьThe invisible member present. Tip - top.
ОтветитьTrue music. No gimmicks or tricks. The reason I picked up a guitar. That's fun! It truly sets you free in this troubled world. Just play. Oh, one other thing. Cannot top Paul's blues vocals with his perfect timbre for raw rock. Yeah baby, yeah!
ОтветитьSorry, thought man, Rod Stewart wrote an amazing song
ОтветитьAgree with the comments .
Fraser truly up there as one of the best .
Kossof....nuff said.
One of the great bands which could never be copied.
Those poor boys were Skin and Bones back in the day
ОтветитьFREE was a really kick butt rock band. I really like their music.
ОтветитьRodgers was unquestionably one of the greatest rock singers - someone line Robert Plant could surely only look on and envy. Kossoff a great guitarist, no question. And the true beating heart of this wonderful but still underrated band was Andy Fraser. Truly spectacular palying. Love this song.
ОтветитьSuper groupe ! Un groove terrible , super musiciens et chanteur hors pair !
ОтветитьMy favorite Band of all time !
ОтветитьI still to This day believe Paul Rodgers is the best voice in rock.. Ever
