ОтветитьDuring the air hammer clamp welding, showing the pedal positioning as the weld is made was a very nice touch. Thanks for showing that small detail.
ОтветитьCool tool ! So where do I get one of those Elio shop assistants? Lol it’s alway awesome to see you achieve a design and fab! Thanks Karl for taking us all on the journey!
ОтветитьHi! Sir.
I received your store's T-shirts and stickers today. It’s very cool!
As a Japanese 🇯🇵 person, I love your wonderful car custom art.
Thank you!
Hi Karl, was watching one of your old van videos from a year ago. I was wondering where you were getting the front fender panels, I'm also Canadian and I can't find anywhere that carries them!
Thanks for any info you can give me, I appreciate it. Enjoying your content, keep it up!

I WANT ONE!!!! You rock man.
ОтветитьFinally my welding has something in common with yours! The forgotten ground.😆I'm a total newb, but I always pick up new tips watching your vids. Appreciate what you do. Thanks so much for sharing your experience and expertise! Maybe your next project could be the wi-fi ground🤔
ОтветитьYou have the same throatless shear that i have,,,,,,,,,,,,(you may cal it a beverly shear),one cool tool👍
ОтветитьYou do so much for this hobby/ industry by passing on knowledge and stayed humble,I commend you on that sir
ОтветитьYou tig weld is that because you get better panatrasion
ОтветитьIm making the stretcher one, i might attempt this one someday
ОтветитьLove the shaper, curious why not just weld the three base plates together instead of bolting, save lots of plasma cutting and hardware.
ОтветитьHere is a tip go and buy several cheap cordless drill motors to keep your chamfering bits in that way you don't have to change them using the chuck instead you just grab another drill motor like a California reload with firearms you just pick up another firearm that is already loaded instead of bothering with reloading the one you just emptied same thing with angle grinders buy several and have different discs and grinding wheels that you use most often at hand ready to go
ОтветитьPower tapping like that is fine in that soft of a metal but you have to be a lot more careful is some of the harder alloys in those situations it is better to go slow and reverse the tap to break the chip and not too build up any heat in the tool also because the tools aint cheap just going slow allows them to stay cool even without a coolant which would be how power tapping normally would be done with a flowing coolant
Ответитьvery nice
Ответитьjust a thought, if you put a tab in the middle plate that protrudes out the bottom you would have a good place to clamp it in a vice. love your design and your thoughts process to create tools that most can afford. keep it up great content
ОтветитьWould definitely be a buyer if DXF plans was available, its a great design and want to make one myself.
ОтветитьThat is really neat and I am going to buy one. I just bought a new house with a nice shop but it’s gonna be two months before I can get in but I’ll be one of the newest to install add. Thank you very much Mark Reid.
ОтветитьAwesome work on that new tool karl and elio, I'm looking forward to its arrival, my minds been crazy on the possibilities and profiles you can create with it, keep up the good work
ОтветитьThe auto feed tig rod made me laugh
ОтветитьI love the channel. My suggestion would be to send the kit with the hammer holder welded I would not feel comfortable doing that part with no tig welding experience.
ОтветитьSo you have the clamp tabs for hammer, are laser cut? You said it a couple time. That new table won't cut them? I'm a plasma shop and always have to straight people out on the different. It called money. Great video and keep it up.
ОтветитьFantastic stuff! Love how this went from an idea and into production, and you took us along through the whole process. Go Karl and Elio, keep moving forward!
Ответитьwill it shape 14ga steel?
ОтветитьDonde puedo comprar una herramienta informacion porfavor maestro Karl
ОтветитьB-E-A-uuuuuutiful!
ОтветитьSo I need to transfer my membership from here to patreon?
ОтветитьGreat tool! I'm thinking of making one. A small suggestion- when making the middle plate, reduce the dimension where the clamp is welded on. The groove in between plates will help the tubing be square to weld on. Keep the videos coming. What about the Baby Buick?
ОтветитьI want know how the ramp truck is doing have you started the bed
ОтветитьМужик, когда ты умрешь, твои дети сдадут эту железяку в металлолом.
ОтветитьSometimes one must sacrafice to move up
ОтветитьI build a similar thing inspired by your last video about this - I found putting in a spring to push down the upper dye (for steady contact) reduces the amount of "hammermarks" (induced by "hopping" dye).
Thanks for the inspiration!
I’m with Elio on the power tapping. But admit I know that is how all manufacturers do things and they do make a power Tapping tool. I just make myself do it
ОтветитьMan i love your channel. I'm gonna move to Canada just to take an apprenticeship from you😂
ОтветитьYou could have used the die hammer with custom dies instead of the kick shrinker.
ОтветитьIf these are kits we'd be buying I'd think the holes would already be drilled and tapped. I appreciate your videos but I wouldn't buy this.
ОтветитьSo you can't just let us know the price? Come on.
Ответить👍👍👍👌👌☺️☺️🇫🇮🇫🇮
ОтветитьTop dás galáxia ótimo trabalho parabéns...mito dás ferramentas 😮😮🎉
ОтветитьExcellent video! Thanks guys. I hope you and Jordan have a video planned!
ОтветитьDarn I’ll have to save the Benjamins for a TIG first.
Awesome you developed and selling this kit. Is it possible to have a version that comes without the air hammer, hose and hardware?
Probably help if you drilled 12 shallow blind dimples in the side of the dies to allow the set screws to hold the dies more better in alignment and more user friendly.Wicked robust design ,I like it. You could even design a set of dies to tip by gradually starting flat and then twist into a 90 degrees all in one pass.
ОтветитьRapid tap is corrosive over time, best to remove with some solvent...brake clean ?
ОтветитьYes, as a machinist..it is vital to chamfer prior to tapping.
ОтветитьHi from Wales UK Karl
All I can say is thanks mate you are awesome after watching the make it video I went to the metal stockist and got 3 x 1ft square 6mm thick sheets and started building it the foot
wide gives me an extra 3" in the throat and I had all the rest of the bits in my scrap bin and a spare air chisel already
I went straight for the planishing hammer idea you mentioned polished one of the hammers and a lump of mild round bar and it works like a dream produces a beautiful polished
finish tomorrow I start on the arm and dies to make the shaper attachment want to make a joggler die and already thinking of an adjustable fence to fix to the frame
Again thanks one of the best channels out there
Do you suppose that the beehive spring would reduce rebound ?
ОтветитьVersatile tool Karl that doesn’t take up a lot of space in the workshop
Good to see them going into production 😎
I hope you do know there is taps for machine, made for just that!
