I have the iPhone 12 Pro Max. I think whatever the 17 Ultra or Pro Max turns out to be will be the best time for me to upgrade.

None of these features, or other features that I've heard are of any interest to me aside from the upgrades to the selfie and telephoto sensors. I'm gunna go to the 16 from the 12, I'm not waiting another year for a bunch of 'maybes' that don't make a big difference to my user experience.

Im Wondering given the minimal upgrade to the iPad mini, if a new device that is essentially a really big phone, with enough screen real estate to be a small tablet for note taking and personal productivity. is in Apple's thought process, take the current ipad mini, remove the bezels, shrink it just slightly across the width and add phone functionality. Apple could do with another vector into business applications, such as CRM, ERP, service team support type applications that benefit from always on and decent screen real estate for mobile workers.

Now think about the idea they make the Iphone ultra so fast, it actually becomes M1-M3 level of performance and it can be docked to make it into a workstation. M1 and M2 Air get along with 8 gb kinda. 12 gb would do it for a lot of use cases.

Man that old used up design concept has been around for a while seems to be making its way around to every apple content provider, I think people are fooling themselves if they think they are going to see that many changes and upgrades in a single year with apple, and I don't think that is always a bad thing drastic changes usually come at the cost of ditching other technology or other useful features, I mean do we really need larger, thinner, and lighter phones? Apple needs to put more focus on the core components Battery Size and Life, 16+ GB of RAM, 120HZ native pro motion screen , 1TB hard drive, and putting the most up to date processors in all of their pro line phones no 18, 18, pro, 18 pro max, 18 ultra crap pro phones are sold at pro price should get best chips period in my opinion

I was overdue for a new phone so I went with a 16 Pro. Not sure they'll release all of that all in one year. Likely we'll get the Air next year, maybe the Ultra the year after. Great to see Apple still innovating though.
