I spilled hot tea on my Acer laptop, probably around 0.4L, and it shut off immediatly... i grabbed a towel and dried the outside, held it sideways so most of the water inside went out, and now im just letting it dry and hope it still works. I spilled like half a cup of water of the side of my laptop, I then tried drying it up while it was still turned on (ik I'm dumb for doing that), then everything was working fine so I continued what I was doing thinking nothing bad will happen but then my screen froze so I force shut it down, then removed the battery and opened the "cover" I then kept it open. I then tried to turn it on but it won't turn on, I'm scarred that my CPU got damaged because the lights on the front (that light up when a laptop is turned on and if the battery is still full and not almost empty) are lighting up but it just isn't booting up. Cuz of COVID I wiped my laptop keyboard with antibacterial gel on some kitchen paper..then may of accidentally used a paper towel so the water over the top of it. Only because my book from school went on top of it. Because I get worried about my stuff from school touching my stuff from home...
