The Christmas light-up on Orchard Road is a yearly event that starts on the first Saturday of November and ends on January 1st. This year, the light-up will start on November 9th, 2024.

The design for the 2024 light-up will incorporate a twist on classic Christmas lights – a “firefly garden” where vertical beams of light mimic the wave-like motion of fireflies, signifying light, connection and inspiration.The road is also lined with Christmas carols and festive music, creating a magical atmosphere.

In addition to the lights, there are also a number of other events and attractions that take place during the Christmas light-up. These include:
The Great Christmas Village: This village is located at Shaw House Urban Plaza and features a variety of festive stalls, including food vendors, gift shops, and carnival rides.
