The fact that multiple teachers and students in my school district have been needing to fight for the day off is just despicable! A lot of people in my area want to travel to better areas to view the eclipse and image stuff, and many people just don’t want to deal with all the chaos and just stay home to be able to get the full experience in their back yard, but our district isn’t allowing them too! If anything my school district seems to be doing nothing but making the situation worse! They don’t even want to at least have it be a half day or even letting out like 15 minuets early, heck! I would even be willing to stay at school for a bit longer just to fully experience it! But of course I will be on the bus while it’s happening, and for some reason the bus can’t stop at some playground or park for a few minuets in the middle of the rout so we can fully experience it either! Yeah sure I would experience it getting darker, but I want to experience the full thing! I want to experience the temperature drop! I want to experience hearing all the night time insects coming out in those few minuets! I want to actually just calmly look at it without having to readjust were I’m looking every two seconds because of me being in a moving vehicle! And my school won’t even let us stay for a bit longer and have everybody out of the building at once because I quote “it would be to chaotic to let everyone out at once”. And to rub salt in the wound they have been giving out small couple day learning experiences to prepare us for it! Like there not setting us all up to not even be able to fully view it! And if your going to ask me “Why don’t you just stay home that day even if school goes on?” Well guess what! My mom isn’t allowing me to stay home that day either! If you can’t tell, I’m absolutely fuming about this 😡!

Thank you to everyone who actually read all of this! I wish you all a happy viewing! And hopefully most of you won’t half to deal with such a ruckus with even being allowed to fully view it like I am🤞!

It was too cloudy on the last annular eclipse so I couldn’t see it 😢 but I am glad I will be able to get the opportunity to see another eclipse soon❤

very happy to be in Indianapolis.. I saw the annular back in 1995 in its entirety.. been grateful to see several partials, and of course the big one back in 2017 was amazing from my back yard... lucky Hoosiers🏁

The movie the Birdman of Alcatraz was released in 1962. One year later Alfred Hitchcock released the movie "The Birds." Both of these bird movies were filmed in San Francisco. The Pope chose his papal name to be "Francis" the same Saint San Francisco is named after. The Challenger Commanders name was also Francis. Hank remained the homerun king for 33 years. The great American eclipses of 2017 and 2024 are separated by 6 years, 6 months, 6 weeks and 6 days and will intersect in Makanda Illinois a city nicknamed Star of Egypt. This land sits on top of the New Madrid fault line in an area known as "Little Egypt." In 1881 a 7.9 earthquake struck this region which is the strongest earthquake to hit east of the Rockies. Nick Mason the drummer for Pink Floyd was born on January 27 as well as Lewis Carroll. In 2005 Marilyn Manson produced a movie titled,  "Phantasmagoria", where Manson plays an evil Lewis Carroll.  Bruce Wayne was named after "Mad" Anthony Wayne the founder of Ft Wayne. Wayne Anthony is Anthony Wayne’s name backwards. Wayne Anthony is an actual person who won an NBA title with the Miami Heat. Wayne played for Kansas in 2003 but was injured and could not compete against Carmelo in that  Championship game. Wayne is a Preacher now.Carmelo Anthony holds two records that contain the # 33. He holds an NCAA record for most points scored by a freshman in a final four game when he scored 33 against Texas when the Orangemen entered the tournament in 2003 as a #3 seed. Carmelo is also tied for 2nd place with "The Iceman" for most points scored in a quarter when he scored 33 points in the 3rd quarter of an NBA game in 2008. My family originated from Belfort France. Belfort is where Frederic Bartholdi was born the man who sculpted the Statue of liberty. Johnny Depp played Frederick Abberline in the movie "From Hell" The real Frederick enlisted with the London police on January 5, 1863. Exactly 106 years later Depp's best friend Marilyn Manson was born. In the movie the Birdman of Alcatraz the first bird he saves is a Sparrow he names Jack, in the Pirates of the Caribbean Depp plays Captain Jack Sparrow. The Birdman was born in Seattle on January 28, 1890 and I on January 27, 1980, 5 minutes before midnight. I won the viewing lottery for the 2024 eclipse!!! The ideal viewing place is in my parent's backyard in Lampasas tx!! Eeeeeeeeee!! Can't wait.

I've been told by cartoon lovers of fake space the reason the bite out of the disc of the sun is due to parallax. I've never seen nasa say that. Since the sun never moves above the tropics this sort of symmetrical parallax we witness and you depict on either side of the line of totality would be impossible. You do know nasa and university professors claim the total solar eclipse only occurs when the three magical space balls are lined up on the ecliptic plane. Knowing that, how can we observe what you depict? Logical answer, flat earth with a mirror like dome where the sun moon and stars reside. Just like the bible says.
