Not a family guy fan but this is one of the few redeemable things about the show. I love afrocentric Egyptian 80s funk and disco stuff but despise daft punk wholeheartedly. I actually got here off a daft punk vid of the song One More Time to see if I can like it today.....I was right, sucked then, still does now. And i hate the fact they exploit aesthetics of good anime and 80s synth which i love bc they possess none of the qualities that makes that stuff enjoyable....it's so cheap and undignified to be that fake lol. They are nothing but a poorly conceived untalented caricature of talented bands like Kraftwerk and Earth Wind and Fire whom they have no shame in blatantly ripping off with not an ounce of talent or creativity...true definition of charlatans of the music industry right up there with the likes of cardi b, five finger death punch and Tom macdonald. Bunch of plastic corporate packaged tripe. So this bit is entirely true.
