I wanted a wooden tiny house in the Philippines but termites are everywhere so we settled for a concrete tiny house on mountains. People criticized us for living far away from town but I wouldn’t trade peace and quiet otherwise.

Great but...... Most of what I saw was good health trees being cut down, why not just trim the trees or lay them to hedging if it was hedging you needed? Typical town folk wreaking havoc in the countryside and calling themselves caring nature lovers. We need more trees not less. I admire your off grid motives, but its like whats happening in the Amazon, you will pay the price in soil erosion and maybe landslides, so all in all a negative impact on the environment.
