Im not a fan of sanwa. They dont offer enough resistance for me. Siemetsu and crowns are awesome

as a controller fetishist, I mean collector I recommend going for sanwa buttons if you them hyper sensitive but other than that I'd recommend the snackbox micro because you can put any kailh choc low profile switches you want in there it's super easy.

Oh but don't get those arcade buttons you can install keyboard switches into, those bitches add so much friction and muffle the feel of the switch.

Why was money for a controller if you play in this layout? I have exact the layout on red switch keyboard. Oh it's for consoles.

i remember just a few years ago people were complaining about controllers without user replaceable art or really hard to replace art and now it's becoming more prevalent and accepted on popular choices being shilled by influencers starting with the razer panthera, then the victrix, the more expensive flatbox derivatives (i'd only use one if I built one myself for $50 or less personally), the razer kitsune and now this. Not saying its a bad thing but it feels really weird.

I got Sanwa buttons after playing on Seimitsu buttons for years. I had to relearn how to position my hands. Literally, any resting on the buttons resulted in accidental button presses. I really loved them once I got used to them, but it definitely took time (like you said).

Eternalrival is a good place to go if you want to make a leverless all button controller I think k they open again next month.

I like sanwa for the fact that they sound like they slap like the slap sound ...ehh hard to describe but sounds good

You can ship that to ohio if you want, I'll give you a second opinion.

Awesome review thanks. I just want to make sure you do know that JFA makes a new board that can be put into the old snack box micro and makes it compatible with PS5 and XB series X. They are usually less of a wait compared to the complete controller.

I play on keyboard like a fiend so you'd think these would be great for me. But the issue is il ised to w being up and suddenly it's down at space. Thats the only thing keeping me from buying one. I cant tell if thats going to throw me off enough to the point where I toss it aside amd go back to keyboard

Not for lack of trying, I tried playing "hitbox" layout for a week (QWE+spacebar on the keyboard) for a week and having up on my thumb just destroys my brain...

I'm so shocked that with how popular custom layouts with extra thumb/pointer finger accessible buttons have become and how frankly necessary they are for optimal sf6, that no popular manufacturers have updated their designs to reflect this and are still using the old classic layout.

I have long fingers - the buttons being spread out like that is a godsend

Just for reference regarding the relationship between the UK and the European Union.

(obviously) there are no shipping restrictions, and the shipping is cheaper than importing from the UK.

Yet, you gotta pay for import taxes, this was added a couple years ago and it does scale the price up more than one would enjoy.

having a hitbox+pc at home I'm looking for something for locals that use ps5... currently planning on a new snackbox asap and then maybe getting something else in a year or so, but if this does ps5 and is cheaper or more available than a snackbox they have a clean shot at my money. thanks for doing these.
