ОтветитьAfter an entire childhood, including teens plus early 20's, of a very unhealthy mindset, the digestive distress was unbearable. When you have a lifetime of damage to unravel it's not a quick transformation. My digestive illnesses turned into liver illness (since the two systems are intimately linked) and the overpopulation of "bad bugs" including viruses led to a horrible time with low grade Epstein Barr infection for the past 2 years. It's been a rocky road to say the least. Now I'm learning to be positive and heal my wounded heart from days gone by by feeling and acknowledging any brokenness. Slowly healing. Hard to heal when life in this world is so chaotic. It's tempting to scream and hide from the mess. But that would be very stress inducing 😅 So it's best to look for the positive in everything, feel what you feel, and anchor yourself in Jesus Christ.
Prayers to anyone in chaotic health messes. Health messes are not here to ruin you, I promise. Like Anastasia said, it's happening FOR you. Believe it. It has more to offer then it takes, and time will show you that. Be of good cheer!!
H pylori has wrecked my stomach and made me bed bound. Caused me massive gut dysbiosis. I have like no bifido or lacto bacteria. It’s horrible. I’m only 24, I’m scared. I don’t want to die. But this is horrible. I have so much brain fog, and facial bloating.

ОтветитьI struggle with constipation so badly, especially with my hypothyroidism. I literally go to the toilet once a week, maybe...with the help of some laxatives. Food with fibres doesn't seem to help😢 I'm cutting out sugar, carbohydrates and gluten. I'm using all sorts of vitamins, including digestive enzymes. However I'm still struggling.

ОтветитьI eat a whole food plant diet, no oil, added sugar or ultra processed foods, you can eat a lot and yes, sometimes I have a "baby belly" but I've learnt to love it and also disguise it with jackets, etc. I am healthy, I am slim everywhere else on my body, hey, nobody's perfect, learn to love yourself and don't look at those influencers with a flat stomach, they've probably starved themselves and not drunk anything for hours before shooting their vlogs, everybody has a bit of a tummy after eating, especially women, this is normal and natural. On this "diet" you can eat a lot and this is very satisfying, especially for volume eaters and former yo-yo dieters or eating disorders sufferers, it's the only thing that's helped me lose weight and maintain my slim weight. I feel great, some days I may be a little bloated, there are more important issues in life than looking flat, as long as you feel well and are healthy these are more important

ОтветитьI am confused, you said do a low fodmap diet but on the low fodmap diet I can't eat legumes and gluten and kombucha, So how am i gonna restore my gut health if i can't eat these foods? Every time I drink kombucha I get a reaction, legumes, gluten, dairy...broccoli, celery, cabbage, etc... all these are not low fodmap and they make me suffer. So what are you saying exactly?

ОтветитьIt’s great to see other people who are getting healthy and motivating others too. I’ve lost weight twice after having kids and now I’m on the journey again after my 3rd baby. This time around I made my own healthy lifestyle journals/planners. I’m using them and sell them too. If those can help at least 1 person to change their life then I’ll be happier.
