Nearly Doored, was actually hit by it. Small lesson to pay more attention in future

Nearly got doored, well i was hit on the side by it but nothing to worry about. partly my fault for not realising someone was about to get out. She apologised and i didn't carry on like some cyclists would. If I did get doored and hurt then its technically not my fault, but is it the passenger or the driver? However i would have contributed to it by riding into that narrow gap and not realising someone was getting out. I would normally look and should have realised the driver of car has no regard for cyclists by pulling in and blocking the cycling lane with cycle traffic actually using it.
