I spent a lot of time, after watching friends for change, working on service projects for people. It was productive and I got a good work out.

This was cool but I remember child me thought the Disney channel games were the best.

I gotta say I've never heard of Friends for Change and I watched Disney channel at least occasionally til 2011 or 2012. I definitely remembered the Brenda Song commercials and the 9/11 one.

I remember once they stopped all shows on the channel for like 4 hours and told kids who went to that channel to go outside and play for the cause and it was thunderstorming outside….

One very important fact about Disney Channel's Friends for Change Games is that it replaced Disney Channel Games. I never watched this until now and I wish I never watched this at all. Disney Channel Games was way better, and I'm saying that after only watching the dancing portion.

Correction (not that it matters or anyone cares): it's actually not possible that the send it on mv was shot on the same day as the other promotional material. Selena has shorter hair in the mv, so there must've been some time lapse between those shoot days.

How did Michelle Obama ruin school food? 1st of all it wasn’t even that good to begin with, I’ve had people from multiple generations say that 2nd Michelle Obama made a campaign like all First Ladies do, congress and her husband were the ones that passed the HFKA which had great intentions and in some cases did turn out well And 3rd eating healthy is important!!!

I think there's no denying all these campaigns actually impacted a lot of Gen z into caring and worrying for the state of the world. Sure they were cheesy, and maybe lied about numbers, but they were real to so many of us

my mom is a bit of an environmentalist, so everything they told me to do in friend's for change, I was already doing regularly. I thought it was common sense so I found friends for change to be a little goofy and redundant. watching all my favorite disney stars get together was still quite magical though.

Demi and Selena's friendship did dwindle due to a certain music starlet, and Demi took it personally.
