ive suffered with addiction for over half my life, not heroin but most other things and it all came from being abused by a woman that i was to afraid to speak up against, purely because i didnt want to be that bloke but i did eventually its one of the greatest relief's i was able to find myself again.

I tell you what I’ve never seen so much grim and monstrous injuries on junkies , I’ve been on methadone 10 years after years of been addicted and don’t know anyone whose had abscess like these from Swansea the gear up there must have been tainted with some shocking stuff , I get that someone may miss a vein but this horrendous, it’s got to be to do with rotten gear .

How can a Mother give her 12-year-old son heroin? I just can't understand that. If you want to use and live that lifestyle then that is your choice but to give it to an innocent child is bloody wrong. I know about addiction and how powerful it is as well as numbing trauma because its painful and your not ready to deal with it but that is YOUR journey.

It's sad my city is surrounded by such beautiful countryside and the people are in general kind good people but my brothers and sisters are lost to drugs we're looked on so badly by the English we're not bad scummy people we're just a lost city of sad people I've lost so many friends to heroin and other drugs thank god I never touched heroin i was surrounded with it as a teenager ill always be a jack im not ashamed of my city or my people

I was one of those guys in turkey and fight with it 8 years homeless for months hospitals but at the and benzo mix,bupre,pregaba,clondne safe me

The only way to fix these issues is to stop taking drugs, stop drinking, stop smoking, and to fill your body with nutrients. Proper nutrition, juicing vegetables, eating salad and meat and fish. Avoiding ultra processed foods. Meditation, grounding. Holistic approach. You wouldn't believe how much your body could heal if given the chance. Obviously you're not going to get limbs back but you could reverse the rest. The body is miraculous in it's ability to regenerate and mend if given the chance and resources to do so.

I was watching a documentary Yesterday. And this poor guy who was a type one diabetic no fault of his. Was working a full time minimum wage job. But in America where he lived he had his Medicade funding tsken off him because he had turned 18. And it was his insulin was more than his whole income. He lived in a disgusting mobile home . These are the people that deserve all tbe help and support on earth not this JUNKIES!!!

What a waste of taxpayers money. There are people who truly deserve help like the elderly for example. Who have worked theiy whole lives and now have to decide wether to eat properly or heat thei homes. Or all the people working hard on low paying jobs. And they have yp pay for these LOWLIFES!!!

No wonder the NHS is falling apart paying for this vemin. I bet you all of them are on disability benefits and all the other perks. If it were up to me l l would pay for a cent of their treat or welfare. I have heard horrible stories about Hard working taxpayers on Englan who have to wait month's just to see a consultant. I wish I had the answer too mate, until then we will continue to suffer. I was an intravenous heroin addict for 15 years and I never had a single abscess or wound from injecting and the only thing I did was do it as sterile as possible with a clean fit and try and rotate veins if you are lucky enough to have a couple.. Michael babe, I feel for you. Don't worry life is temporary. And in turn, so is pain. ❤

Im 10 years clean thank god and have scars all over its so sad i eventually got into counselling and overdosed i was living in house owned by church saw staff monday to friday i overdosed on Saturday but my worker said god told her to check on me and thank god she did but it was straw broke camels back that poor lady walked in i wasnt breathing god knows how she coped with it im not church go but believe pray god everyday im in my own home relationship with my family and grandchildren 4 crazy cats it just saddens me Micheal seems so lovely brandon not so to carry on knowing he could lose his other leg if one wasnt bad enough may seem cold hearted but you can do it its not easy but do able i also slept rough 20 yrs on of prison i pay my bills always have food vape im enjoying things so much more i pray these guys find there happy

as an ex drug user, intravenous as well. I had to go to the hospital with a nasty infection. I spent a day in the er waiting for a bed and to be admitted. They gave me no pain relievers. All I could do was lay there and cry do to the horrible pain I was in. The nurses treated me very badly. I had one nurse come to the bed and tell me to stop crying that I was disturbing the other patients. I said if I could stop I would stop and she walked off in a huff. They humiliated me. I was looked at by the staff like an insect. I never cried so much and for that long in my life. Finally after the doctors rotated and I was given a new Doctor I was given pain relief. I've been clean for many years now. No one deserves to be treated less than due to having a drug problem

I consider myself very lucky, I've been clean for years now but I shot up drugs for decades and I never got any abscesses or anything else particularly serious from it, the odd painful bruise from missing a vein was about it. I first started shooting up in the early 80's it was very difficult to get syringes then, we had never heard about HIV or HepC there would be 5 or 10 of us sharing the same dirty needle, often one of those really old school glass syringes, at the very beginning we had no idea what we were doing sometimes one of us just couldn't find a vein so someone else would grab the syringe and shoot it up with the first guys blood in it, the needle would get really blunt or sometimes get a barb on it from being poked into the metal of spoon so we would do our best to sharpen them using the abrasive striker on the side of a matchbox. Somehow I made it through all that unscathed, but a lot of my old friends from those days didn't and aren't with us anymore.

Cannabis isnt just a 'plant' it is a teacher, meaning it prevents you doing worse, the true gateway drugs to cocaine is Booze and pubs, then after cocaine...... heroin,

It's ridiculous the lengths we go to for that hit. I've spent ages trying to find veins then ended up with my gear all concealed in the pin then I've sat & cried. Pleased to say I've been clean nearly 5 years. It's the devil is that drug it really is. I've had abcesses I've had pins snap off in my groin that are still in there, I've had 2 blood clots from years of injecting in my groin & even after a month in hospital I got out and dug myself in the exact same place as I'd no veins anywhere else. Crazy it is.

2 months ago I quit injecting after not being able to find veins and hitting artery in my groin which is the most painful thing you can imagine. I went back to smoking it and will never try to inject again. I feel so lucky that during 12 years of needles I didn't lose a limb but that could have been me!

I remember that feeling of desperation when you can’t find a vein and your sweating and feeling so Sick and horrible every nerve in your body is craving that hit and then suddenly your into a vein and all the pain goes away….all that just to feel normal and sleep…..it’s not worth smoking it either as it costs too much especially with the deals today…it was 30 for a sixteenth when I was using its ten pounds for point nought point one now so that’s why the crime rate has soured…..just say no to drugs and it’s one less thing to worry about …life is stressful enough without this shit in your life

Children, just say no! Terrible really what all this shit is doing to the next generation. I would have thought that legalizing drugs might be a start in trying to combat this crap, jailing people for substance abuse is not the answer, nor is dumping the addicts onto the NHS. Sad state really.
