Honestly when I first saw this scene before watching the anime. I thought Geto put some brain monster thing in his head to get a power up and that it’s still Geto. But nope when I got into the series and watched the movie I found out that Geto is dead and that this brain monster thing named Kenjaku took over his body.

Its interesting how up until this point the only proven way to best Gojo is a highly complicated plan (either utilizing multiple high level fighters and/or stretching it out over days) of pressure pressure pressure in the hopes you get like a singular brief moment where he is not 100 percent focused

I honestly didnt know Geto's body has been controlled by Kenjaku all along.
Thats why Geto Died in JJK 0.
And also I saw Geto's hand stopping Kenjaku to help Gojo.

Personal opinion - Gojo's Six Eyes extresensory perception allows him to see soul inhabiting a body - that's why he knew that Kenjaku was not Geto and his words "how long will you let others manipulate you, Suguru?" will have an effect. He can see original Geto still being in that body, although not in control, unless there is a high emotional reaction (Gojo seeing Geto again paralyzed him for brief moment so I assume that original Geto's soul also experienced severe emotional impact after seeing Gojo). And yes, I know Kenjaku's ability, and that there is no information about the souls of the people whose bodies are controlled by Kenjaku. That's why my comment about Gojo being able to see souls and original souls still residing in Knejaku's stolen bodies is personal opinion.
