Is It Worth It To Buy The Line 6 Helix LT in 2023?!

How about comparison Between boss gt 100 and helix LT?? Which would be better in flexibility and tone ?? The tones should be of top priority then flexibility

I’ve held out this long and really want one but it feels like buying a 2017 iPad for 1500 bucks when the 2023 iPad is around the corner and also 1500 bucks
It’s a tough call

How's the build quality? I'm worried that one switch might not work too soon and I can't just unplug that one out and get it replaced just like how you do with a traditional analog board.

I'm a teacher and play in a few bands too. Was looking for an all in one unit for live, studio and practice with pro tier sounds and quality. The LT is perfect in that regard. Also i don't so much mind throwing it on the floor in a busy pub. I couldn't bring myself to put a 3k quad cortex on the floor at some of my gigs.

How are you finding the LT after a year of use?

i am also planning to buy a helix LT.
but i dont really like that fat distorted tone with too much fuzz - it doesn't have too much character

i think getting used ones from reverb and ebay is a great deal! only few dollars more than a brand bew hx stomp xl

I was using the Headrush Gigboard and just thought I would try the HX Stomp. I was so impressed, I sold the Gigboard, took the Stomp back, and ordered my Helix LT today. Can’t wait to get it. Thanks for your videos as it confirms I made the right decision. Especially since it comes with Cubase Elements and Helix Native for free right now.

Hey Jeff, thanks for the video! I just got my Helix LT about a month ago and loving it! Back in the day (1980's and prior) before all these modelers come out, one had to have all kinds of bulky heavy stuff to get good tones, amps, expensive rack mount stuff, etc to get the tones.

Thanks for this. I have an HX Stomp, but there are not enough footswitches, and I find myself more focused on figuring out the pedal than playing the guitar. I'm going to trade it in and go up to the LT.

have a pod go but keep running out of dsp so wondering if the lt version is just a pod go with more resources

Nothing wrong Helix floor or the Helix LT, It's all about how one programs it with band dynamics and needs.

I for one never needed to use any IR's and manage to fool quit a few very picky soundman...

I had one soundman who happens to be a guitar player that ended up buying a Helix floor for himself after he heard mine going through FOH that he was mixing.
Todays LINE6 is nothing compared to 15 to 20 ago. The introduction of Line6 HELIX FLOOR basically set a HIGH standard for all competitors for the now and near future...

I also have a Line 6 Helix LT in a Thon flightcase and i use it for wet dry wet sound.I had a POD go which was very good but i needed more routings and more effects,so i'm happy.Good video,nice work🤘

The helix will be relevant as long as there's continuous updates from Line 6 which considering the most recent 3.10 version, I think its doing just fine!

I'm about to pair my LT with BluGuitar amp1 Iridium as a midi processor and I have no doubt the combo of analog/digital will sound killer. The helix would make a real good "back-up" if your real amp screws up on ya, so I never feel unprepared for gigs!
