You're comparing 2 year old kit vs most recent at the time of this comparison. Why not compare kit released in the same year. Intel is 2 years newer, cheaper at the time, but not that much faster...

i own a i5 7600 CPU from 2017 and a Ryzen 7 3700X, my next PC build for Gaming and or Office PC would be an Ryzen 5 5600X (it has best Price Performance Value for of all 200$ CPUs), in Europe it cost currently 174,00€ but the price should fall down in the next 3/4 Months.

from my understanding the 13400f is pretty much a 12600k, same cahce and everything just slightly downclocked. 6P cores 4 E cores

Something clearly wrong on these testes. By ANY chance 12400 is inferior. I had 11400F and Ryzen 5600X in my hands for a while. 11400F was similar or better. So 12400F need to be faster.

Damn this just elaborates how good 5600x was in terms of value. Second generations behind AMD's cpu can match, or overwhelm even, Intel's previous gen CPU.
And now you can find it at around $100 on aliexpress, which is just insane.
