Worst update ever my bettery down 3 present after update

Apple finally taking on fascist tech companies invading our privacy!

Battery life has been horrible on my iPhone 12 Pro Max and my Apple Watch 6gen since this update.

I hate this update! My phone has slowed down a bit! And the overheats A LOT! When i put it on charge! Big issue! Should be fixed in 14.5.2

Overuse of the word “issue”. Whatever happened to “problem”?

How much trouble or danger am I in, if I won't upgrade past 14.4? I use the 1st gen SE, battery is replaced and 100% healthy, still it gives just bareable screentime. The tests show significant screentime loss past 14.4, that the reason I seriously thinking about not to upgrade. Any thougths? Thanks!

Hey Brandon, I think this new IOS came with some glitches… my keyboard doesn’t swipe down on some IM. Is that happening to you too? I wish I could share some screenshots.

There is a bug with the notifications and I want Apple to fix this.

After update I’m having too much lag in games (they’re updated) and Wi-Fi connection fails sometimes

My battery life has taken a weird hit from the iOS. Ever sense 14.5. Before I could use my phone for hours & by the end of the day I’d have 50-60% battery left. Now by the end of the day I’m at 30% or less. I could go a day & a half w/o charging.

This update sure messed up my audible app. And I rely on it all the time. It just stops. Eventually begins playing again though. Hassle.

I had the worst possible situation with ios 14.5.1 to the point that my phone would not upload anything to my facebook story without crashing, it would not backup to itunes and it even couldnt complete uploads to my laptop, the photos app on my laptop would crash when trying to upload videos of all sizes and resolutions. Because my phone was sooooooo glitchy and unresponsive I absolutely had to downgrade back to ios 14.5 but since the phone wouldnt backup to itunes and my photos and videos wouldnt upload to my laptop i lost everything. All my pictures and videos. all my apps, all my settings, all my messages everyhing except passwords and contacts.
DO NOT update to ios 14.5.1

ios 14.5.1 has to be one if the worst versions of ios i have ever ran on my iphone 7, so many app crahses and terrible battery life and i have never experienced this ever

This update keeps logging me out of my apps

Did they fixed random mode for music? I have a playlist of 900+ songs and the same 50 songs were playing each time I started the app. Now it’s really random

can i get the widgets like everyone has? because everyone has 14 update and not 14.5 and when i swipe all the way to the right where the widgets are the rest of the background is blurred

Have read articles (and seen some comments from some users who have upgraded to 14.5.1 on other platforms) that performance of their iPhone 12 was cute by as much as 50% (or maybe higher).

Did this happen for u too? I’m a little apprehensive about updating 😩

I have noticed that my screen brightness keeps changing in 14.5.1 (on 12 pro) just randomly gets brighter then darkens back to where I set it, toggle still in the same place

I’m using iPhone 12 Pro Max. Since updating to iOS 14.5.1 it ruined my battery health from 100% to 97%. Battery drains fast than before. Apple needs to fix this software update

After the battery calibration, my battery health went from 91% to 100%

this update makes my camera turn black :( cannot use flashlight too

why is my iPhone XR sometimes freezing?

Why does this update prevent posting photos from the photos app to Facebook? I’ve had an iPhone since 2010 and have never encountered this issue.

Ever since upgrading to 14.5.1 my iPhone 11 Pro has an issue with Siri’s voice cutting off.
