Is the Sony A7IV really worth upgrading to? | A7III vs A7IV Comparison

Get the a7c if you want a cheaper option thats also slightly better for video then a7iii. If your struggling to save up for a7iv just get a7c if u need flip screen or if you are a photographer get the a7iii dual card slots get more jobs simple.

I use the app to connect to my a6500 then mount the phone under my teleprompter for a monitor. I thought the a7s3 was your go to camera. Are you using the a7s4 now?

crappy comparison.. what about things that matters?? how about shutter lag? stablization? only kids care about flippy screen

I really think these videos should be separate for video and photography. Most of the stuff in this video was about video which I almost never use!

if youre an amateur videographer no it's not worth it. if you are professional and understand the craft to a tee then yes. its a night and day difference with 10 bit.

For me, it was Worth to upgrade from a7 iii to a7 iv. Much faster starting up and in general + 10bit colour.

Now I'm waiting for the next A7S IV or A7 V.

I'm a photographer not into videography and thinking of switching from Nikon to Sony so iii or iv which one is the best option for me suggest please

I think the 30 minute recording cutoff was because of an EU tax that defined a camcorder as anything that records longer than 30 minutes. Has that changed now?

I hate that the a7iii in 4k doesn't have eye AF only in 1080p. If it had that I might consider to don't upgrade but nope anyway it's a 2018 camera. The a7 IV has incredible AF + 10bit + FLIP SCREEN.
And i really love that is 7k oversampled so in post i can clean the noise in high iso and maintain that sharpness. Also hi Lila and thanks for making that video.

I would love to get my hands on the A7IV, but my A7III is still doing a great job. Instead, I am slowly saving up for the A7V when it arrives :)

a6700 and good full frame sony glass here. Set up for everything for another 7-10 years.

There's a few rumors saying Sony will launch the A7V next year so if you already have A7 III I'd also recommend to wait a few more months to make a decision.

I could make you look so good. Reflector/flag blocking the magenta lights from hitting your face. Larger keylight off to the side with more diffusion and a polarizer to remove the shine
