step one install manjaro, which is arch based, kind of but you can turn on aur support in the package manager in its prefs, step 2 install steam done and done, no bloat all the drivers

Great video! I got into arch when you uploaded the video about thinkpads, and I've loved them ever since. Although I already have a fully functional system, I still learned some new things I didn't know.

Basics, I see. I have been using arch for at least a year now and so far what I learned is that you have to install polkit, fix file associations, usb automounting, and the rest that i forgot. Most of these are easily provided by desktop environments but if you use like bspwm like me then you have to manually install them.

Correction: By default distros use the Nouveau driver for Nvidia Cards which is the open source driver. The nouveau drivers are much inferior in performance in graphical intensive tasks and also does not have CUDA support. Its often recommended to use only the proprietary driver. On arch its as simple as running 'sudo pacman -S nvidia'.
