The June Joust is underway, but that didn’t stop teams from transferring players. Last week we saw that the Dallas Fuel signed Pine, Paris Eternal signed Dridro and Washington Justice released Ria.
Arachne has announced his departure from the Guangzhou Charge. Remarkably, the Guangzhou Charge didn’t announce his departure or the arrival of a new head coach. Currently Neko is the only coach listed by the Guangzhou Charge.
Meanwhile, the Vancouver Titans announced the retirement of main-tank ShRedLock. He will be replaced by former KongDoo Panthera & Fusion University player Changsik.
WhoRU is back in the OWL. This time he joins the Shanghai Dragons.
The Toronto Defiant has signed Aspire from NA Contenders team American Tornado. He gets a 30-day trial from the Defiant to prove himself. In the meantime, Defiant players get time to rest and recover.
Off-tank Ellivote had to leave Paris Eternal due to a wrist injury.

Fusion University is back. This time they will play in Overwatch Contenders Europe. This is the second academy team fielded by the Philadelphia Fusion, the other one being T1 in Overwatch Contenders Korea. The team consists of European players that aren’t able to travel to Korea, main-tank JkAru19, flex-DPS Jiali (better known as Sugarfree) & former Philadelphia Fusion flex-support Boombox. Head coach ChrisTfer will lead the team with former Paris Eternal and Toronto Defiant main-support Kruise as assistant coach.
EQO is the only European player who was able to travel to Korea.

We also saw some transfers in Overwatch Contenders Europe and the Overwatch Contenders skins for June are announced.
