I wanted to get this done but then occured a question: If I botox the masseter muscle will I be more likely to have jowls as I get older due to the muscle atrophy?

I’m having this done tomorrow in hospital for my painful jaws, physio didn’t work so hoping this does, to be honest I’m not bothered what this does to my face because the pain outweighs everything ….of course if it changes my face for better then that’s a big bonus. I just prey it stops the pain.

Imma guy, this is my favorite treatment, it does wonder to my face. Even though I don't have tmj or something my muscle jaw develops periodically, been having this for the last 4 years within one year interval for re-injection.

I don't get the hype. A lot of this is just perception, not "better."

I kind of disagree about the youthful comment, round and even square, Kirstin Dunst, for example still looks VERY YOUTHFUL. Christy Turlington is beautiful and looks more feminine or model-esque with a narrow face, but not necessarily "baby faced". P.s. I did just get neuromodulator in the masseters.

I think people should stay with their own features… not everyone should try be an oval face… accentuate your own beauty

Just got it done today for my teeth grinding problem. As a guy I definitely see the improvements in the celebs from botox. I think while it is possible to pull off a slightly masculine jawline anything excessive is comparatively unattractive and anyone who tries to convince you to be yourself is not really helping. So glad that these non invasive surgeries exists for everyone :) Great video!

This was the question I was searching for. I already have an oval face between 2 and 3 on the scale but I have TMJ and my jaw hurts so much. I have been considering to get this kinda bottox for the pain but also my pain comes from the jaw bone rather than the muscle? I'll talk about it if I ever see a professional.

I got this treatment 5 years ago doing 40 per side and I am considering doing it now again. Would I do the same amount of units, or could i reduce the amount to say 30 units per side? My face would fall under #3.

And no it is not biological to match a 20 year old female with an 50 year old man since dull skin, greay hair and wrinkels is a sign of unhealth and "aging" in all species and genders. I am so tired of feeling old and ugly because I am in my 30s nad got a few natural lines that never is shown on women in public photos.
