I have to pick up a can of carb cleaner for my EX775. Same thing, it will run on starter fluid or a couple of drops of gas for a few seconds then quit. I'll post back and let you know how I made out.

Using "true fuel" will help too, it's kinda expensive but no ethanol, and higher octane.

I accidentally put a wrong spark plugs NGK which is longer than regular champion spark plug RJ19LM after that when I put the short again it won't start, did I mess up the spark plug hole or something?

Thanks for the video! Been trying everyone else’s suggestions (aka other videos) and have been avoiding cleaning the carburetor. Took about 1/2 hour and it started right up, and restarted on the 1st pull every time after that when it stopped because of the high grass (been about 3 weeks since it ran).

Thank you for the video. I did everything you did, changed the spark plug, fresh gas and it start one time. Doesn’t want to start up again. Can the motor be bad? I pull on the pull and the engine doesn’t turn over to start.

Why do all of that and not drain the tank and add fresh gas before you start it up? I’m not a believer in fuel stabilizer

I cant get my Poulan Pro to start,, 550 E FWD,140 cc,I know its a handle or bag loose or some thing else. I don't
have the Manuel on it,she moved away and couldn't

Sorry, partner, carburetor cleaner and brake cleaner are not the same. You are wearing nitril gloves in this vid. Spray one glove with carb cleaner and the other glove with brake cleaner. Use carb cleaner.

It dont hurt to clean it all if mower been sitting a while too. At least doing this it is ready for a lot of mowings. Thanks for sharing.

I pulled a dozen times and ...no go. I emptied the fuel tank and removed the main jet, blew through it and it was clear. I replaced the bowl and the jet. Replaced the spark plug and put fresh hi test gas into the tank.
1 pull. She go. Thank you God

I think that you can get black fuel resistant disposable gloves from an automotive parts store.
