ОтветитьWow! You sound like a real spanish!
ОтветитьOMG!!! we love Casa del abuelo. We will be in Madrid on Wednesday so will be heading there and to Botins as well. We love both places and head there whenever we are in Madrid...
ОтветитьThanks so much for this video. I had this dish at Casa del Abuelo while on a Devour tour last year and was so happy to be able to make it at home. Just made it for visiting friends who had done the Devour tour with me—brought back memories of a wonderful tour!
ОтветитьI do that all the time, but add just a little tomato and shrimp stock. Cousins, I would say but I shall try it like this as well. Thanks, and I enjoy your vids.
ОтветитьGreat recipe. I love to make this and i also add Spanish paprika.
ОтветитьWhat if we don't have a cazuela? And, how much oil to use?
ОтветитьLooks delicious! The ugliest leather jacket I've ever seen ;-)
ОтветитьPaula one of your Devour guides, took us to this bar on our food tour in Madrid. The shrimp was so good maybe my favorite food item on the tour. Thank you James for doing this video I really wanted to make this after I got home. And Paula is the best. If I can still make my trip this August I am going to take the tour again. She really made the tour a great experience.
ОтветитьJames and Jolie, I will join and pay for all on the first of May... Do to Covid-19, my account is in the minus and will be brought back up on the 1st... James Shorten Jr. :-( (jumpinjimmyjet) jimi
ОтветитьThanks for the comprehensive illustration of what real Ajillo is made in Spain. Subtitle is a little bit too big, and sometimes block the scene
ОтветитьQuick question! What’s a pot he cooking in?
Ответитьsi ya...aceite de oliva, como mucho aceite de girasol, si parece agua el aceite.
ОтветитьU move your head and blink too much. It gives me anxiety
ОтветитьWill be buying one of those pots and trying this soon :)
Ответитьwhat kind of pepper is in the plate with the olive oil? Trying to see if its a pepper that available here in California
ОтветитьI am going to make this now. I am considering how many shrimps should I put 6 or 12
ОтветитьI "discovered" this bar and its Gambas Al Ajillo on a Devour Spain tour and it was an instant favorite. On a recent trip to Europe I arranged my travels to spend one night in Madrid so I could return to Abuelo's! And Mesón del Champiñón...
ОтветитьI don’t see the recipe James. Hopefully no extra hidden ingredients, like lemon or sherry as some recipes use.
ОтветитьOMG, my favorite place in Madrid! I’d go here first thing to get this when visiting on business and have two or three:). The bar tenders and I would go back and forth buying each other beer:). I went to often they got to know me:)
