so wrong! i can't believe it!
Ответитьdo you get paid frome those companies?
ОтветитьGood video. Thanks......But I am calling BS on the knife shown as the cover photo for this video!!! Where is it in your lineup??? I didn't see it in this video....??? Did anyone else see it in this video??? I love that knife. And I wanted to buy it when it first came out about three years ago. It was not the name brand shown here, but the exact same design. Back then it was only $20.00 brand new.
ОтветитьThe video would be far more helpful if: (1) you list the knifes in the video bellow with manufacturer links. (2) If you tell the manufacturer list price for each "in the video".
Ответить👍🏾
Ответитьthe tracker t2 was made known by a movie....it is totally ridiculous
ОтветитьNo Esee blades?????
ОтветитьThat Tops knife is one hell of a knife!
ОтветитьWhere is the knife from the click bait?
Ответитьwhy 1095 in all?the fracture in this iron is to big, and the hardness aroud 56-58 the 5160 give and give the 3x more resistence mecanic
ОтветитьMy tracker came dull as a butter knife
ОтветитьKABAR---used by US military. ...not sure for "fighting" only or a combiation of survival and defensive...the 2nd one mentioned--I think was desgined for the film Hunted--Benecio Del Toro/Tommy Lee Jones about some ex-DPEC OPS guy who "couldn't turn it off" when he came home...was always in fight/kill mode...made a version of the 2nd knife out of rock...
Some guys might prefer a "survival knife"...I would consider an axe....desgined for chopping wood right?? :) A fixed blade "survival knife will obviously have it's compromises vs an axe....for "survival"...so many more pluses e.g. durability, weight behind the cutting edge....leverage from the handle....
Seems to me the only good place for a knife is in the kitchen. (e.g. a pocket knife is the knife you reach for when you have no other cutting tool)...always a better one for the same job)..
Why have or bye a knife that us useless in nearly every condition? A Mora to 15$ you can use to nearlyy everything, but alll this extremly heavy bulky thick... You americans are the onely wans taking about survival all the time.. How wonder, You are making war all over the world
ОтветитьGood compairison its what feels good in your hands. I'll stay with my Becker KA-Bar BK9 and Companion with G10, Leather sheath. Those two haven't let me down yet.
ОтветитьPeeps put “SURVIVAL” and “TACTICAL” on everything and kiddies and wanna be Patriots that never served buy it up lol. Most is crap. I wouldnt waste time buying any item that is labled either. Military has been a testing/proving ground for the real stuff for centuries and peeps that served know the deal.🇺🇸🍻✌🏻
ОтветитьEsee 5 or 6 should have been in the list.
ОтветитьFor general practice. Tape up those knive handles unless you just buy them for show.
Test out slippage before you do anything needed.
You might think grip tape on the handle looks tacky, especially for folded knives. Just do it.
Fyi. I was actually used in combat. People there used to for their assassin. I've never spoke about it aloud for a long time (I am still keeping quiet).
I only could do it if people were awful and I saw or for mercy killings which cause conflict a lot of the time. Especially against people holding them.
Sometimes people are held because of where they live and they have intel/are against the system there.
100-200 people I guess is my number. It is high but not that high compared to others that abuse. I don't take out multiple targets at once with missiles/bombs etc..
There are many people who have done it with me to verify.
It sounds made up, or shameful. I don't have a negative feeling about it. Just about the system that creates that.
Are there any 10 " - 12 " blade knives i find anything under 9 1/2 inch blade a wast of time...
ОтветитьA small machete is better for survival.
ОтветитьYou just showed bullshit knives...The biggest shit knife is the tom brown trash tool...
ОтветитьSeriously? Not even a mention of the true benchmark knife for the genre, the Cold Steel SRK?
Get real.
Notice the older knife designs are still the best ? Some of these "new" knives are just not that practical.
ОтветитьGood
ОтветитьTom brown cutter how much
ОтветитьI would confidently put my skateboard up against any survival knife, as a survival tool.
A skateboard is 100 tools, and you can't ride a knife.
A survival knife shoulb be robust andedge holding.
ОтветитьYou should remove Schrade and put the Cold Steel SRK instead. Schrade are notorious for having bad heat treatment in the community and they break crazy fast ( sometimes you get one that last if you are lucky).
ОтветитьI would like yo get one of them.send them to our country
ОтветитьYoung men, are the serrations on top useful and for what?
ОтветитьThe first one is an ugly copy of an italian knife...
Ответитьthere's one thing I keep asking myself, what good is an indestructible knife that costs $100/300 when the average use is to cut twigs and food? at this point I'll take a small axe and a knife with an honest price tag that does what it's supposed to do well even under stress.
I have recently discovered bpsknife which offers knives with good steel and excellent performance for 40/50 euros, now there is one thing to understand, is it they who in order to sell you an excellent knife cheaply are starving or is it the others who make you pay a lot for a knife?
KABAR BREAK EASY AT THE HANDLE
ОтветитьInfomercial 👎
ОтветитьI'd argue that the serated edge and the hook are for field dressing on the ka-bar. The large serrations could be used as a bone saw. And the hook is simply a gutting hook. The chisel tip could be decent at skinning and the flat edge for butchery. That would be NY take on it anyways.
ОтветитьThe ka bar becker bk3 was designed as an urban
Tactical tool for police and fire not for bushcrafting.
I have the KA-BAR BK3 TAC TOOL and like it a lot.
ОтветитьTop 10? I count 6
1095 is not the supersteel you make it out to be. You keep saying it holds 95%of its edge like cheap manufacturers use the term surgical stainless..it's sounds gimmicky and it's not true. Tough yes..good at edge retention..not so much. You show various models of the f1, f1 pro and it looks like A1 as well..no mention of lam cos, elmax, lam vg10. If fact every knife on this list uses 1095 except fallkniven, the only manufacture mentioned here that actually produces a good quality knife that issued to any military. Yes ka bar make knives for some US military but not the models mentioned here, because the issues ones are garbage and break easily. A survival knife should take of you, your shouldn't have to take of it as much as would something in 1095..always sharpening and without the coating it's rusts like crazy.
Where is the knife pictured in the thumbnail? thanks
ОтветитьThat's a beast.
ОтветитьI can recommend the cold steel SRK 3V for a fixed blade, toughest steel I found so far. Thick tang on it, takes a beating, I use a much cheaper Boker folder as my EDC, again a nice thick blade, and a very strong non locking action.
Ответить"Sharp out of the box, which is convenient", no its a must
ОтветитьFallkniven's military/survival knives are apart from laminated VG10 which is more suitable for kitchen knives as it lacks the toughness of well-made 1095 even though it has vastly superior abrasive wear resistance also offered in ELMAX powder steel and laminated CoS steel both of which are vastly superior to 1095 while laminated steel variants remain in one piece even when harder inner core broke (you can find a video of an adult jumping on Fallkniven laminated steel military knife while being pressed into the material where inner hard steel core broke but the blade is still held by softer outer steel). Laminated steel CoS Fallkniven knives are among the best survival knife choices for cold environments where steel becomes more brittle and for that exact reason Swedish military paying extra for laminated steel knives...
ОтветитьI've come to reject the Rambo Knife concept in favor of simple knives without multi-purpose gimmicks. This is because it is easy enough to carry a small survival kit in a cargo pocket or fanny pack. Gimmicks include sawteeth, sharpeners, screwdrivers, wire cutters and serrations that can cause cut injuries when you least want them, as well as cheesy survival kits stuck in the handle Some of the best survival knives may be the British MOD ( only drawback is weight ), KaBar military combat knife ( stood the test of time ) Glock knife without saw teeth ( light but strong ), Becker BK-9, Cold Steel SRK and other Cold Steel models, KaBar Kukri, ....
Buy a pure, safe knife. Supplement it with a small " pocket " survival kit like this :
Strips of 400 grit, 1000 grit sandpaper and crocus cloth for emergency sharpening.
Bic lighter and some kind of tinder ( toilet paper, dryer lint, trioxide tab, inner tube rubber with cuts in it etc. )
Dental floss ( for use as rope etc. )
Diaper pin ( safety pins have many uses )
Photon Micro-Light flashlight
tip of pencil and piece of paper
Emergency rain poncho
Emergency space blanket ( for shelter, ground sheet or sun protection )
Piece of hacksaw blade ( for saw and cutting rope )
Small whistle ( FOX or other )
Aluminum foil for making a bowl etc.
Tiny Swiss Army Classic model knife
button compass
food bar
[ Notice the absence of lifeboat matches ( can burn you !), fishing gear (almost never used ), contractor grade trash bags ( heavy), gloves and hat ( bulky ).]
You can carry more survival gear such as a Ferro rod, magnesium block, Mora knife, Leatherman Wave or Swiss Army Swisschamp elsewhere such as in your backpack. The sky is the limit but.....Your survival knife and small kit stay on your belt.
You forgot to put in the video, the elite, absolute best, in the entire world survival knife: #1 SOG TECH SEAL SURVIVAL KNIFE. THIS KNIFE WILL SAVE YOUR LIFE & TAKE THE LIFE OF ANY/ ALL OF YOUR ENEMIES...
ОтветитьYo I found a cooler kit it’s multiple but I might not share ima try and get the site
Ответитьhow do you close this knife once it is open?
ОтветитьNothings says "quality and accuracy" like a thumbnail of a $10 video game prop knife...
ОтветитьThank you!
