Awesom vid very inspirational i just got a cheap second hand used board its a 6'3 and 32-34L its probably going to take me a little while longer on this board as im 93.2kgs but i think it will pay off in the end even though i should of got the the 6'6 instead witch i was not made aware of until just now.

I stumbled on this video randomly a few years ago. I used to bodyboard as a teen but never learnt to surf.

I remember having no idea how to catch waves on a surfboard or how to duck dive, pump, turn etc but watching this vid helped break it down into workable chunks.

I feel it was a turning point for me. I surf 2-3 times a week now, and starting to practice cutties and re-entries 🤙🏼

I like how you encourage people to take it slow and learn to be comfortable and good at the basic beginner's stuff. I paid for surf lessons and got hurt my first time they did not explain or do any of this stuff we just skipped it all and went right in trying to surf .
