Long time Vic Cross Country Tour owner here. I thought about purchasing a pursuit before I bought my road glide limited. I'm not ready to forgive Polaris for the way they abandoned is who believed in the victory brand. I know, it's petty. But hey... it's my wallet.

But I got 2 fkn oil coolers on it to keep it cool.
I’d love a challenger with that water cooled motor makes solid Harley stage 2 power out the box !
They sound surprisingly good too with some pipes and cams .. amazing actually

I don’t have a license tho so the Indian spot won’t let me test ride one .. one day I’ll go this or maybe gold wing .. I ride 25k a year .. all year in chi town. My bikes are my primary transport .. car is just for when I NEEDS to be in one. Enen tho my car rips and is the shit

Ditch the damn auto windshield and do heated grip instead Indian .. what they thinking lol

The Metzler Cruistecs are a lot of the reason it dips in like that
When I put those on my road glide it did the same thing

Since HD started giving money to pedo organizations pushing sex changes, sterilization and mutilation on children, I’ve gone to Indian. It’s great also that they make a superior machine.

Harley guy for many many years. Wouldn’t even look at an Indian, until one day the Challenger was released and I became interested. I’m on my 2nd Challenger now, started with a 22 Base model and now I have the 23 Dark Horse. Love these bikes, wouldn’t go back to Harley for a second. I actually rode my buddy’s CVO Limited not too long ago, and I can’t believe how heavy it felt compared to the Challenger. Night and day difference and the challenger is just so much fun to ride!

I keep watching this review. I may need to get the challenger BEFORE the sport chief. Just in case i want 1 bike to do it all. I may wait for 2025 to see if they upgrade power. Or search for a 2023 blue Elite.

What mileage did you experience?

I want to ditch my softail and go Indian, been riding for a long time. Would you recommend buying new or used

I rode Harley for years, in 2020 got a Roadmaster 111 and loved it! Then in April this year, totalled the RM and used the insurance to buy a 2024 Pursuit and OMG what a machine! Handling, Power, styling all YES! The only complaint is the RideCommand infotainment system GPS trips out occasionally and seems to be unable to find anything. Other than that, it's aces!

new engine looks good on paper, but that iconic indian twin with shiny ridges are gone :(

So, what needs to happen is Indian needs to make a motorcycle like the Harley Breakout. It's name would be the Apache. Named after one of the most feared tribes in history and an awesome attack helicopter. The Dark Horse trim would be standard.

Looking for a new cruiser, torn between the Chieftain dark horse and the challenger dark horse… the price though….

What is the rear suspension? I mean, is it a softail? I don’t see the shocks on the side, are they cleverly hiding them?

I've ridden Challengers, Pursuits, Road Glides (CVO included)... Challenger wins hands down. My goal is to get a Pursuit and ride it with the top case off most of the time. Amazing machines
