....I just realized something.

Megan is essentially an evil Jill doll from the 80s.

For context, Jill was a....slightly fully animatronic doll Playmates made to continue with their interactive toyline after the success of Cricket and Corky, the latter of which inspired Chucky and was even voiced by the same kid in the 'Good Guy' mode. Jill was innovative for it's time but INCREDIBLY expensive and hard to fully interact with for the intended audience since I believe she weighed TWELVE POUNDS and for the most part, all she could do outside of interact via the cassettes was sit while her head and arms were the only things that really moved.

A lot of Megan's mannerisms when she first appears reminds me of Jill considering the biggest selling point of Jill was compared to the previous dolls and other talking dolls on the market of the time was she could actually 'interact' via voice commands and how they would respond to her tape options. You should really see demos of it because it's amazing that they had dolls like that on the market at the time but looking at how advanced things have gotten now....yeah, you can see where the Jill/Megan comparison comes from.

This is a simple fix....just do ya outdoor maintenance. Fix the bloody hole in your fence.
Then the dog doesn't need to die, its the only life that really mattered in this movie anyway.

Whelp Gemma for sure is going to prison since she created the doll, therefore a robotic Doll can not be held reliable to death of human lives and pet it caused alone. Ima be honest, I think about everybody has watched or knows of a movie where robots take over or do alot of damage. I thought they would learn to add a kill switch by now.

It's so frustrating that no one else I talk to realizes this is a total ripoff of the 2019 Child's Play movie. The plot is almost EXACTLY the same. Also, horror movies where they kill the dog aren't worth watching.

Is it just my imagination or were they a bit careless or sloppy with their practical effects? Like the prosthetic ear Megan pulls off sticking out a lot more than the boy's actual ear and looking different. Or how the boy just casually lifted and carried Megan like she was made out of plastic instead of the 20kg or so of metal that actually went into her production...

There are times where she's clearly a child or small person with a mask and then times when she is clearly a prop and that was definitely one of those times it was just a prop.

And i wasnt paying particular attention to her, it just really stuck out to me. I dont ever really notice things like that. It was just that obvious in this movie.

I havent seen this movie yet. Is the aunt picking up the kid from the hospital after the crash? Because how did both her parents get killed in this crash while she only walked away with a few scrapes and bruises?

Just mentioning that M3GAN was show to still have access to the internet after she was impaled by a screwdriver.

Technically the robot was not truly beaten in the end. Before the credits run one of the automated home machines suddenly came back to life meaning since the robot can access the internet it can also upload itself onto anything it wants and it just has to wait until it can get a new body.

Myself reading the comments of a large group of pre teen and ignorant kids on the internet being entirely influenced by emotion...M3gan is the perfect thing to avoid law its self as it is not classified and human or animal which puts it in a grey area, next it has self sentience and a adapting ui and ai type deal. Meaning the person who made her couldnt be heald responsible as they can legally say the programing was based on something far less, this at most would keep them out of jail. Next the military would probably employ them since megan is a effective machine that can neutrilize combatants while also being entirely disguised and hidden under the guise of harmless toy. Its not they messed up its that they sold the product to the wrong target audiance...

To be fair ..everyone M3gan harmed deserved. Like all the people she killed was a good riddance attack. At least until the very end which she felt betrayed. Idk I rooted for Megan definitely a understandable villain. Though every evil AI/robot villain only turns evil after coming to the realization “humans suck” …so can they really be blamed for their actions? Humans always make killer robots be on killer robots

I really don’t want robots to rule the world. I actually watched a video that said that AI knew how to get humans to help it solve stuff, and it also found out how to lie to and decieve humans.

just wanted to point out that while the Pressure washer knocking back the Neighbor was unrealistic, they all generally have high enough PSI to basically shred human flesh into blood pudding, thats not taking into account Megan could have modified it slightly to bring up the PSI to be even higher than factory settings... those things are super dangerous, especially in the hands of bad actors and morons

Destroying the robot should be really easy if you're prepared. Buy a really strong magnet magnet and just throw it at her. Ideally one of the toggle ones so it doesn't slam to random pieces of metal while have it. You can buy them with around 1000 lbs of force which would do serious damage to the electronics and if the metal she's made of is magnetic then it also stick to her of course.

First:start with e4
M3GAN could or may start the Sicilian Defence
If it is the King pawns opening then play Knight to g3 attacking the pawn
M3GAN will respond with Nc7 protecting the pawn on the d5 square,
If it is the Sicilian Defence, Respond with Ng3, advancing the Knight and attacking the d5 square.
Then after you the rest of the moves, you can either end with a queen left or 2 rooks
If it is draw by repitition, insufficient materials or stalemate
