This song represents a solder that kills the enemies by dicapitation then he covers them with scarves to hide it. So it's a creepy song but it's so beautiful

i’m singing this song in chorus and i thought is was a cute song but then found out the backstory-

it’s about a military officer that decapitated his men and tied scarves around their throats to keep their heads from falling off and no one could tell the were decapitated because they had scarves covering the cut

I did this with in a group of 4 for my winter concert and I did Avi’s bassline with the percussion (me and the group learned the actual percussion for each part along with the proper voice part), and I have so much respect for Avi, I can not hold out the bassline as long as he does in one breath while doing the entire percussion pattern👏🏾👏🏾

I have to do in a in 8th grade chorus, I am learning the movements of the guy in the middle. Personally I think I got one of the easier ones, considering how hard the others look. Although mine still seems a little confusing lol.

Original is better. I truly hope people check out the Fleet Foxes as opposed to this. Seems like most of this cover is reliant on nonsensical clapping to get past the fact that it's a mediocre cover in itself.
