nice video but sadly due to the useless mayor we have London has become a crime ridden filthy hellhole.
ОтветитьWonderful emotional journey you took us on. Thank You from a Londoner in Cambodia.
ОтветитьAs a Londoner, your video made me feel quite emotional! We live on the outskirts, but each time we travel to the centre, I’m still in awe of it all, even after many years - it’s such an assault on the senses as there’s so much to take in. Hope your travels are going well, and I’m now subscribed!
ОтветитьThe Tower of London might seem wonderful, but some Very Bad and unjust things have happened there over many centuries
ОтветитьBorn and bred in London Town I’m proud and really pleased you enjoyed your visit to our Capital SO much. Your warmth and enthusiasm shined through along with your constant captivating smile. What a refreshing treat to witness your joy which became so enjoyable to join with you in your journey. Best wishes to you Jennifer and handsome Lady for sure.
ОтветитьHI Jennifer..have a won derful time..take care..keep your bag sec
urely by your side at all times
What a lovely person you are Jenny. Thank you for visiting our country and London. Your video was a pleasure to watch ❤
ОтветитьThank you so much for sharing this delightful. Your positive energy and enjoyment made me smile. Your video is beautifully made and edited. Thank you 😊
ОтветитьLoved watching your video ❤
ОтветитьHow wonderful to share your excitement, enthusiasm and joy. Thank you Jenny.
ОтветитьI lived in London during my 20's, not far from London Bridge. It was lovely to see London through your eyes, it has changed. There is so much I haven't seen, the boat trip was fun!
ОтветитьYou have made me cry ❤❤❤
ОтветитьI only just found this channel, so I don;t know the answers to: did you go INSIDE Westminster abbey, the tower of london to see the crown jewels, The houses of parliament? The V&A museum, the British museum? There is so much to do. Buckingham palace?
ОтветитьThis was also Ely blog to watch - your enthusiasm was magical thank you for loving our capital
ОтветитьLondon gives off an atmosphere of the empire it once was. A small island with such a city. The first London was roman. It was once the world's biggest city. Aufhidasen
ОтветитьGreat video, Really pleased you enjoyed yourself in our wonderful capital, hope you have more fantastic days out in the future. 😊
ОтветитьI've been trying to get a ball park figure on hotel prices in the area. I still have one or two more bargain places to check out in the locality.
It's not as straightforward as you think -
I need to know the following -
What time (month) of the year did you stay in your airB&B.?
Roughly what did you pay per week or per month (or per day).?
Without this information I have nothing to go on, and compare, etc.
I live in the UK and have been to London a few times. Im not trollìng, bur Im a bit puzzled by why as a German she found the sights of London to be "amazing". Sure, there are some sights that are unique to London, but in many respects (ancient buildings, river etc) there are many places in Europe with similar features.
ОтветитьThank you lovely German lady
ОтветитьIts a must for you to visit York
ОтветитьWe didn't beat Germany because we are a better country, its because we believe in freedom ❤
ОтветитьFrom the bottom of my London heart, thanks for this, your wonder and awe rekindles my own.💚💚💚💚
ОтветитьJennifer what you are experiencing is the history and the stories embedded there. History lives in the buildings, art (and yes museums) but few places have 1,000 years of real history you can walk in and enjoy like Westminster Hall and Abbey and the Tower of London. Or even the Roman walls from 2,000 years ago.
Ответить❤❤❤
ОтветитьPS: What people call 'Big Ben' is actually 'Elizabeth Tower' and 'Big Ben' is actually the largest bell.
ОтветитьHi saw Kensington video. Cheers & well done. 2 seven day stays in 70’s
ОтветитьWestminster Abbey was the white building behind The Houses of Parliament. Big Ben is actually the bell within the Elizabeth Tower
ОтветитьCome back anytime.
ОтветитьReally lucky to have seen the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben looking cleanest they've been since they were first built. The scaffolding was up a long time to get all the grime off. I remember when the stonework looked black from the accumulated grime of so many years.
Ответить"I can not explain what the city is making me feel" yep, that's London. My wife and I spent over 4 years there before we left to raise our family. Now that they are basically adults, we may move back to London for a bit...
ОтветитьJenny that ship berthed at tower bridge is none other than HMS Belfast , She's 1 of the last remaining war ships from WW2, ,HMS Caroline from WW1 is berthed in Belfast , Should b the other way Around
ОтветитьAs someone who lives in York, but who has been to London many many times mainly on business, we tend to be somewhat blasé about the history and our capital city. I loved how much you were blown away by the architecture, the history and the modern all at the same time. I hope you can find some time to explore more of the UK. York usually blows people away too.
Ответить나도 오랜 역사와 근현대 문명의 발상지 아름다운 사람들이 사는 영국에 가고 싶어요 ! ㅎㅎ
ОтветитьHi Jennifer, I'm so glad you had a wonderful time in London. Love and respect from Cambridge, UK
ОтветитьThankyou jennifer, this was really interesting and well put together.
ОтветитьYou are so lovely and so pleased you liked London so much you are so welcome Please come back and visit Westminster Abbey the most beautiful and historic interior imaginable..so much more to see xx
ОтветитьAs an ex British soldier who spent 7 wonderful years posted in a variety of garrison towns throughout NW Germany and the holidays I took from those town to the likes of the Moselle valley, Bodensee, Schwarzwald. I was based briefly in Munster and will one day go back, and later as a tourist with my wife to the likes of Meissen, Goerlitz, Dresden, Potsdam, Spreewald and a return to a now united Berlin where I was based for 2 years bevor die Mauer niedergerissen wurde - and with more trips to come. I grew to like the Germans and their attitude toward work and play.
It makes me smile to see you enjoy our capital as much as I enjoyed your country through the '60's and 70's - now go and take a look at the rest of the country, I suspect there will be a great many surprises in store for you. Wilkomen!
So pleased you didn’t get your phone stolen, and I work in london.
ОтветитьI loved this video, thank you x
ОтветитьWhat a lovley lady.
ОтветитьIt is not Big Ben. Big Ben is one of the bells that chime the hour. The building is the Westminster clock.
ОтветитьI still miss living in London even though I now live on the south coast of England. Have to have my London fix every summer. Really I would like to go back.
ОтветитьDid you put an aqua blue filter on you camera because the city looks unrecognizable to me, good attempt though.
ОтветитьWhat an absolutely lovely, lovely video xx. Such a great antidote to a visit to a monster city to go into the Jewel Tower to visit a small attraction. Great idea.
ОтветитьA new Shakespeare museum is due to open in 2025 so you will have to come back for that! It will be close to Liverpool St Station and called the Museum of Shakespeare. It's built on the site of the Curtain Playhouse and we'll be able to see the remains of it.
This was a beautiful video. I'm glad you discovered the Jewel House. Despite it's location it is a hidden gem (No pun intended).
Lovely vlog from my favourite city in all of the world
ОтветитьLiving in London, I'm guilty of taking most of the sights and sounds for granted. Watching your video and seeing your reactions reminded me of my first visits and the feelings I had. I'm glad you enjoyed your visit. Take care and thank you.
ОтветитьThe sound is a bit overwhelming.
ОтветитьJennifer you are a lovely lady, thank you for being so enthusiastic and emotional about our Country and Capital city. As someone else has said, i find German people to be so respectful and gracious. I hope you have many more delightful visits around the UK. I have subbed. By the way, my name is apparently Germanic, i haven't had time to take the ancestry research yet, but i will.
