Our bodies emit light. We are battery packs of healing. I use the biotech light therapy LifeWave patches, reflects our bodies light and heat stimulating certain targeted peptides via Nano skin antennas. The Ghk peptide activate stem cells. At 50, best shape of my life, deep sleep, body looser no need for chiropractor, mental Clarity focus, detox of metals microplastics parasites, phenomenal workout recovery . The testimonials what it can do are out there and proprietary patented. Regenerative medicine is the future

light meter apps on phones overestimate lux greatly but on low light readings seem ok to use when checking if bedroom is 3 or less lux suitable for sleeping.

Dear Dr. Hibernan,
I would greatly appreciate your input on the use of naturally occurring red light at sunrise and sunset for the red light therapy.

Thanks a million in advance:)

Hi Andrew, I have the best disease. I have two markers. I am 56. How does this affect melatonin on a daily basis. I.e., how I absorb it and whether I absorb enough and the best way to improve it if because of my macular issues I’m not getting enough?

Being an artist , I am curious about working with different physical colors( i.e. paint ) blue/green and if those vibrations would create a positive effect for the mind. Also, would wearing a night eye cover be beneficial to completely block out light? I try my best to keep my head under the covers to block out ambient light in my sleeping space, but the eye cover may be very bennificial, correct?

Hi! Can I use a industrail lamp instead of a specific light therapy lamp for SAD/morning light exposure? The light therapy lamp has 1000 lumens and the industrial lamp 26500 lumens. The industrial lamp is a cold white color. This should be better than a 1000 lumens lamp right?

Regarding red light treatment. I have a 1200Watt heating lamp. I realise that the black body radiation from it will cover the NIR waveliengths and a wide range out side those. However, it cost only 5% of what dedicatet a NIR would cost. Would it be possible to use such a lamp ?

Nowadays, red NIR lamps are popular for health improvement, isn't a better option for example a halogen bulb in an office desk lamp with corresponding power? The spectrum of these bulbs is much wider and mainly closer to the sun... and the price is a bargain

Question re: red light therapy for eyes. I know this study was done with 670 nm / 1 foot away for 2-3 minutes per day. My confusion / question comes on with duration. I believe study was each day for 2 weeks? So it isn’t something you continue daily or is there optimum time intervals?

I went to third red light therapy last weekend. I was a little nervous but had to post how good it’s been already! I wanted to go for aging originally but found the joy of the NI bed! I am really thin and in northern no sun state. It was so good for me especially with my circulation, I was able to do my errands easily in the cold.. I have COPD and coughed up phlegm I didn’t know I had. Additionally my eyes have already improved, I’m writing this without my reading glasses. I went to a tanning salon and unfortunately the staff have no info on the levels of nanometers used but trust me, I’ll find out.

How do circadian rhythms work in blind people? Are the rhythms different in people who were born blind versus people who acquire blindness as the result of injury or disease? It seems like light hitting the retina is such an important part of this, but...what if that system isn't functional?

Remember, ~80% of signs of aging on skin is caused by UV damage. Consistent broad-spectrum sunscreen use, especially tinted sunscreen with iron oxides to protect against visible light, will not only prevent skin cancer and limit hyperpigmentation/dark spots (e.g. melasma and dark spots you get after acne), but also prevent wrinkles, lines, and sagging, and potentially make you look decades younger. Every dermatologist I've ever listened to has recommended sunscreen for all skin types and ages.

Hyperpigmentation and aging skin can be difficult for people to handle if they care a lot about looks. Women can suffer mentally from melasma above the lips making them look like they have a moustache. If the benefits of UV exposure discussed in this video are real, just know there's a tradeoff. If you want to improve mood and mental health, remember that looking like you're 20 years younger than your peers is a pretty nice feeling too. It's up to you.

I have never been a depressed person or felt extreme sadness in my life like I have in my 69th year of life. The country falling apart, our retirement years affected by two teenage grandkids needing help because rent has pretty much doubled here and my husband returning back to work 3 days a week, I just feel depressed. We are debt free and still are but our retirement is dwindling fast. We worked so hard to get our retirement home so its sad to me. Tennessee is very sunless snd gray in winter. I want to see if this can turn things around. Thank you Dr. Huberman. I needed this info so bad instead of anti depression pills. I prefer not to take them. I will certainly give this a try.

Hey Andrew, I have a few questions about UV Rays and sunscreens:

-since UVB rays do have a positive impact on us, but sun damage is cumulative, how do we bridge that gap?
- since most people do not use enough spf (2mg/cm²), is regular/average usage enough for us to still get enough benefits from the sun without risking skin cancer/pigmentation/ sun induced ageing
