Great series! Excellent work. Well presented and highly polished. 👌👍💜
ОтветитьRAW does not have white balance. It's simply the ratio between the RGB channels. You can correct it in post by pulling down one or two of the color channels but you gotta be careful with it. It does not work properly if the image is underexposed. You need to have an overexposed image to get good results.
Ответитьawsome
Ответитьfantastico
ОтветитьThis was so unbelievably informative! Thank You !
Ответитьunderstood everything, love your delivery of technical content
ОтветитьHow do you expose these Sony sensors? +1.5 or more?
ОтветитьHello Mokbel ! When will the part III of the series come out ? I can’t figure the denoise & sharpening for the prores raw post production :(
ОтветитьI don’t use Final Cut Pro, only davinci. Can I buy Final Cut Pro compressor to use solely for imports into davinci? Thanks 😊
ОтветитьI watched both clips back to back. Outstanding level of insight and clarity. Thank you very much.
ОтветитьHi! Do you have a tutorial on the denoising process you performed? I think you really did an amazing job on those clips
ОтветитьThank you for the amazing breakdown on how all of this works!
Question: would recording ProRes with the ninja instead of RAW still leave you with the same issues of noise and lens corrections to fix in post?
A great example. I am insanely surprised by the impressive ability to evaluate the ways of delivering material from the camera in post-production. This is a discovery for me. I am glad that I have now begun to understand the beauty of 👉ProRes Raw👈, which allows you to creatively use any type of camera matrix on the post. There is no such possibility with the internal XAVC codec, and besides, it destroys the material at the production stage. It is interesting
ОтветитьI am shooting my first ProresRaw movie. I haven't edited any footage yet, but I really should play around with a clip to see what kind of workflow I will have. I work in Premiere and AfterEffects, with no third party plugins. I wonder what the best de-noise options will be. I played around with Topaz Labs when I upconverted HD to 4k, and the de-noise was incredible.
ОтветитьAmazing video, thank you for this!
ОтветитьSo detailed and amazing explanation!!!!!
ОтветитьFantastic informative video!!:)) thanks
Ответитьwith BM Video Assist 7 12G: what is currently the maximum possible with an A7S3? BRAW doesn't work with Sony cams yet. Is the Maximum XAVC S-I 4K / 50p?
Ответитьthis video is the perfect! thank you!
ОтветитьIs there automatic noise removal and lens distortion fixing plugin for final cut pro? This seems too much effort than what its worth
ОтветитьAmazing work man. Thanks for all the info. Quick question, what program did you color the footage with?
ОтветитьThank you for the great videos! What plug-in do you typically use for your post de-noise process?
ОтветитьFantastic info and work packed in this. Just finished building an FX3 rig for a feature documentary climbing the highest mountain in the Caribbean and have been researching the noise issue. Now i finally understand the sony sensor without processing is just noisy. What settings would you recommend when exporting prores 4444 from FCPX to work in Davinci? Again great content. Subbed!
ОтветитьSo it is more trouble than practical use. No stabilization, no lens profiles, huge files, and more noise.
ОтветитьGreat lesson, you made a gorgeous work. Thanks.
ОтветитьThanks a lot for such a detailed video and for providing the corrective luts
ОтветитьExcellent! Thanks for the time and effort put into making this possible!
Ответитьwhat do you think about prores to almost 2 years later?
Ответитьsuperb
ОтветитьHey Friend..@TheDPJourney I really conflicted if I should get this monitor or just one for better viewing..I do a lot more handheld and enjoy the active stabilization the camera gives..And not sure if I wanna deal with the noise reduction etc in post..uggh
ОтветитьThis is great! Thank you for making it.
ОтветитьAwesome graphics and information!! Didn't think I would enjoy that much information LOL I just watched both videos in one sitting.
ОтветитьAnyone know why my Ninja V recorded ProresRAW footage is WITH color profile, I'm sure that I off the Luts output..
ОтветитьYour content is amazing brother!
Ответитьthank you bro !!
ОтветитьPack lut dispo?
ОтветитьFantastic video! Thank you🙏
ОтветитьJust discovered you channel. Really good. I enjoyed this presentation a lot. I am thinking of doing RAW with my GH6 now that it will be an option. One question I have. Are you saying if I am shooting RAW with the ninja v+ and with my GH6 that I'll have no stabilization when I am shooting? If so YIKES that is a deal breaker.
ОтветитьThey should crown it the Noise king instead of low light king
ОтветитьWhich lens did you use in this video?
ОтветитьMan, God sent you. Thanks <3
ОтветитьGood Gods the S1H looked amazing compared to the Sony
ОтветитьDoes Raw have more dynamic range than XAVC?
ОтветитьI don't know if it's the Kool-aid I'm drinking but I seem to get better motion cadence when recording Prores Raw in Ninja V than I do with the internal recordings. Anyone else notice this or is my mind playing tricks on me?
ОтветитьExcellent review. Congrats and many thanks!
ОтветитьHello! I was wondering what effect you used to zoom in and tilt the virtual camera at a screenshot/information on screen. Is that just a camera move in after effects with lens blur? I’m hoping it was a FCPX effect lol.
