B3en using this since 2016 thanks for this really appreciate
ОтветитьI remember in my internship, boss makes me to write in arch. Serif from 9 to 5 for a whole week.
ОтветитьWhere am i?
Ответить.
ОтветитьSeems you are writing more like a doctor than an architect. Imo - Style is last thing to consider. I want / need to be able to read and understand what I am reading / what has been written. If you really prefer style over function - go work for apple.
ОтветитьI can't believe that I saw these videos in 2008 and today in May 2022 they are the same as in force and knowledge
ОтветитьI thoroughly enjoy Doug’s architectural lettering! So much that I bought his book “How to architect.” Guess what?! I enjoyed it as well. Semper Fi, Infantry O.
ОтветитьWhat are the rulers you used ?
Ответить🤔
ОтветитьIt was a very successful video. What is the name of the ruler you used at the beginning?
Ответить😌 do you really need to write like this ??? I thought as architects we need to write in clear and boulder handwriting 🤔
Ответитьlol my dad is architect and he write like that😂😂
ОтветитьIt looks so pretty! Am I allowed to write like that although I am not an architect? :P
ОтветитьContrived. Exactly like what architects do.
ОтветитьI watched this video 6 years ago and it helped me a LOT in architecture department. I came back to thank you, ty so much 🌻
ОтветитьWaiting for the next video: “How to write like a doctor “.
ОтветитьI like this style and I notice you say emphatically the rules of how the letters should be formed However, I’ve seen many different styles that people say are architect style
So, is the one you’re showing here definitively THE Style, by some right?
im sorry to disappoint you,im an architect and i dont know how to write like this lol
ОтветитьMy name is Luke. I'm planning to go to architect school alongside you. And I'm 7 years old but interested in architects. See you soon! Luke kruidbos
ОтветитьThank you for this! I have a baclground in typographic design and graphic design but moving towards landscape design. Architectural typography is super interesting, and so very different than a lot of typography I have doen in the past.

ОтветитьBobo A B C B daw napaka bobo dapat A B C D
ОтветитьI write like a doctor
ОтветитьMy mom is an architect and I’ve never seen something so similar to her hand writing
Ответитьdrew the architect XD
ОтветитьI am sorry, but that is extremely difficult to read. I know quite a few architects and their hand lettering is so much more legible and there is less ambiguity between letters. For example the D looks as if it could be a lower case b, and H, M, N could be misinterpreted. I don't understand why the letters ascend either; all that is achieved is that words take on a sort of a 'staccato' effect which is neither conducive to good practice, nor sensible design. And the point of this form of lettering is to keep it consistent across the drafting team (although I understand that lettering across teams would rarely happen now) but this lettering seems stylised rather than uniform. Also, leaving openings at the base of each letter or number seems clumsy and messy, and does not lend to the legibility of the document. Sorry, slightly pedantic rant :)
ОтветитьIts abcb haha
ОтветитьHow would I know if my lettering is wrong?
ОтветитьHow to wright like a doctor
ОтветитьThis is more like how to write like doug patt
ОтветитьTranslation: how to write like my asian dad
ОтветитьWhat rules did u use
ОтветитьI watched another video the suggested straight lines for verticals anf slant should be 20° angles...nice job!
Ответить:o I like too July
ОтветитьNo se le entiende nada eres una pendeja de barrio sube mejores videos
👎
This voice sounds like ron howard
ОтветитьThat last line says "How to Architect"
Ответить😍😍😍😍😍😍
Ответитьlol
ОтветитьThe point is
ОтветитьFirst of all, what is that, I'm going in highschool for architect... If my teachers saw something like that they would set paper on fire alongside with me, that's so unreadable, point in architecture is readable stuff, everything needs to be nice and clean, video and explanation is great but for me that's not nice, clean and readable handwriting
ОтветитьD is rong
ОтветитьI wrote letters this way when i was just 12 years old till i went to college to found out im going to take architecture and yeah same way all of us taught to write this way . But now i can write without the t-square triangle.
ОтветитьWhy do architects need to write in a different way? How is it related to the field of drawing and planning when it comes to houses etc etc.
Ответить
