I have used nearly all natural remedies, but what made a difference for my hair loss control was these things. 1 cup slightly hot water to drink as 1st item when you wake up. Using neem wood comb. Using soft microfiber towel on head wash day. Some gentle exercises. Using Littleextraa cooconion anti hair fall kit once or 2 times a week.

Oral minoxidil is a miracle drug that 99% of doctors have never heard of. Doctors are stupid when it comes to treating hair loss. It's a miracle that I was able to find a dermatologist who prescribes dutasteride and oral minoxidil. Yes, I know oral minoxidil has side effects, and I don't care. It's a good hair regrowth stimulant, and that's what is most important. My hair is my identity. Why would I want to live through a worthless, meaningless existence?

I’m really surprised at the blatant ignorance of this particular broadcast. While we realize that minoxidil isn’t effective for everybody; we know vast amount about hair loss and how androgens (particularly DHT, but not limited to testosterone) effect miniaturization of hair follicles and lead to male AND female pattern baldness. To say that we don’t understand how people go bald is outright false. Minoxidil works as a vasodilator and finasteride by means of 5 alpha reductase inhibition, and used together can completely halt, and in some cases reverse hair loss in many individuals.

It shows how little people know about hairloss. She did not have a receding hairline, she had diffuse thinning. Also , the minoxidil is just a hair stimulant and does not address the root cause.

Technically Minoxidil has been studied and approved for hair loss by the FDA, albeit as a topical formulation in Rogaine. The topical was developed after doctors found that patients taking oral minoxidil were regrowing hair, and it was thought that a topical formation would reduce the lowering of blood pressure. But not everyone responds well to the topical, whereas most studies of the pill have been favourable. I've noticed by hair getting thicker since I started taking it (alongside other treatments).

Hey just want to add to this for anyone thinking this will cure baldness. This will only regrow hair, not stop hair from falling out, you will need a low does (1/4 1mg ED) of finasteride every day to stop the hairloss. Oral minoxidil won’t stop it on it own. Take care

I have been on 0.625 mg oral minoxidil daily for hair loss. It has been one week since I started, no change in blood pressure, hair fall kinda stopped. However, I feel my erection becoming softer and doesn’t last, also I lost my morning erection. Not sure it’s minoxidil effect since this all happened one day after starting it ?! Or what ?! Any thoughts?!

Um, this isn't new news, minoxidil is rogaine, it's just being prescribed in pill form. Finasteride & Dutasteride are far superior but not available for females, so this may be an option for them. And male hair loss is well understood, it's genetic sensitivity predisposition to DHT, a byproduct of testosterone which causes the hair follicles to shrink and eventually close over time. Female hair loss is more of a mystery, very lazy reporting from GMA, not surprising given the current state of "journalism".

Just use rosemary essential oil with a carrier oil over minoxidil, rosemary oil works same as minoxidil and is all natural (with no side effects which minoxidil might have )👍🏻

Eliminate shampoo and conditioner. Or use baby products. There's a class action lawsuit that some chemicals in shampoo cause hair loss. I went from having bald spots and severe hair loss to a full head of hair by just eliminating shampoo and conditioner.

Countries like Turkey are abundant with clinics and surgeons that will cost a fraction of what it runs for in Western countries. As a sufferer of male pattern baldness I can assure you its worse than you think, nobody finds it desirable, and its a major blow to one's appearance.
