RIP Nina Spinelli 4-2-2023 we love you . I miss her so much she was my landlady and like my Grandma too.
ОтветитьHello Tony. Thank you for your fabulous music. Good news. My records from our 1947 jukebox were found. Your music 🎶 is a blessing.
ОтветитьWow, has the changed. The lyrics are not even close to today's R&B. No slang, no reference to money, sex, drugs, violence, nothing offensive. This music came out not too long after a world war, not to mention lack of civil rights. You would think people would be more angry back then
ОтветитьI’m 67 and heard it growing up. Best music ever to leave the lips of human beings!!! BAR NONE!!
ОтветитьOUTSTANDING!!! I'm just 46. But, I've got the 45's from my parents. Plus I work at our local butcher shop. Great sounds for working and those shopping! 🎲

ОтветитьTony, you along with Dan Casey and Robert Estrada have promoted and revived Doo Wop the BEST since Alan Freed. I’m 82 and have my younger generations listening when they visit, and they look forward and enjoy the music of my youth.

ОтветитьI can't say enough but thanks
ОтветитьThanks for the memories. I was introduced to DooWop in 1954 Sour Lake, TX (KFDM AM if memory is correct). Several of us would sing all the songs of the time. I played in our HS orchestra. Later, I moved to Louisiana and played in a DooWop/RockNRoll band (drums, clarinet and sax). Went into the Army 1960 and a couple of years I DJ'd a closed circuit radio station (HRBS US Army Hospital, Frankfurt, Germany), Down Memory Lane. Now at 81, all I have are the precious memories which I re-live thru these great music sites. Thanks again, and may God bless you.
