They are literally an asset management company what else would they do besides buy and manage assets. They do not run these companies but do have influence over major decisions, they are shareholders that’s it. You can thank capitalism for it all being possible.

This company was given authority in Iraq and was a para military's unit that was to keep law and order when the US invaded to kill Sadam Hussein who was reported to have weapons of mass destruction that were never found. Actually the US had given him some yellow stuff to attack Iran, which was deadly but never used. That part was never followed with a story that I saw. But this was a series of removal of leaders of country's that did not do our bidding. This company went on to work for the expensive development of the oil barons, as their private military, and have been able to become very powerful and wealthy. Seems that Cheney name is never brought up with this company. If you check who are the biggest share owners for the companies you mentioned. The share of Black Rock or Vanguard share is mostly between 4 and 8 %.
I dont want to say that they dont have massiv influence with that. But they dont "own" this companies.
As an example you said Black Rock owns Bayer but they are just the biggest shareholder with 4,8%.That is far from owning it and quiet an exegeration.

This HIGHLY misleading. Black Rovk doesn’t OWN trillions of dollars. They MANAGE trillions of dollars. That’s a big difference. Black Rock is publicly traded and is regulated by the government. Their total valuation is around $110B. Not even close to the largest company in the world.

I guess the owners left the house and it seems they are gone for about a month. I don’t think they will be back.
