How to Make a Scrolling Background in Scratch | Tutorial

If you could have any character in your scrolling background project, what character would you want? :D

when i did this it looked really strange the other background would fuse into the other one when moving creating a realy unpleasent mess i followed the tutorial exactly here whats going on?

Hi Zinnea! The video was very informative and well explained.. I have a question.. In the end of video while adding a plant to the dackdrop you chose another backdrop where as u could have done that on the second sprite which you used as a backdrop?

Can u put different Backdrops in the scrolling backdrop

You can use your open world tutorial to move the world -10 forever lolz

Just make clones that infinitely spawn by using the if to delete the clone if it’s less than -240 and make a rectangle at the bottom to make sprite fencing be decreased 😂😂😂

Zinnea, i duplicated the background, without programation, and fixed it as a real backgroud. So, the animated background pass to the left and the effect is similar.

But It didn't work and it just like I don't know were to put it

Thank you so much! I was trying to make a Chrome Dino game in Scratch, and the original tutorial that I was following was a bit too advanced. So I searched up this vid and it was suprisingly easier than the one that I originally followed!

Scratch team, you should allow us to turn on / off fencing and make an "off screen?" block. It would help a bunch with scrolling stuff.
