- the crew accidentally engaged the TAKE OFF/GO AROUND setting and didn’t disengage it for landing
- as the pilots tried to point to nose down, the autopilot pointed it back up and the GO AROUND was activated
- the captain was trained on a flight simulator which didn’t have the GO AROUND feature on it, and he mostly flew boeing 747s beforehand
- he tried to correct the issue by pushing in the yoke, which would have automatically overridden the feature on a boeing 747 and on the simulator he was trained on, so he was correct in thinking that, and his reaction was appropriate when considering his training
- this led to it stalling

ОтветитьThe voice recording was not officially released because it would incriminate China Airlines. The pilot and copilots English or rather lack of it killed them all.
The plane was about to stall because the speed was too low. A red warning flashed " Emergency! Pull Up!" Pilot to copilot. "What does pull up mean?"
Kaboom!
Where’s the explanation —or at least a GUESS ??
