So glad I was a teenager in the 60s , never expected to still play their music in my car at the ripe old age of 76 !! They give the words Class Act REAL meaning!!

These tunes are simply sensational when played by someone of Hank Marvin’s calibre

Super Sound all the many years- thaks for it. Now I am 80 years old, alwayd tried duplikating thst sound😂 and Now I found solution with 2 echo machines working together. So I can sit on my couch with Stratocaster and Playback record playing my Shadows instrmentals.Tank you Marvin for thr wonderful sound.❤❤

I literally love listening to him playing guitar I lose myself in the music and it always gives me goosebumps which is how u know it’s great music

Nobody could make a guitar sound like Hank Marvin. Beautiful sounds and music. Never gets old. They were the best times.

Anything that Hank Marvin played, brings tears to my eyes. Pure joy.

My favourite was Foottapper and saw the shadows with cliff richard in glasgow inv2011

Such great music still to this day. Could not understand why they were never honoured by the Queen, as Cliff Richard was, and he was not as good as The Shadows.

Anyone remember "Mustang" on their first album?
Bass line in the intro, then lead guitar joins in, in harmony..to me, the Shadows always evoke feeling in their mysic..and their sheer professionalism especially on stage places them in the upper echelon of performers..some journos criticised, carping..but the Shads' music and wacky humour provides mood-filled entertainment.

Not only is Hank a great guitar player, he also has a fantastically sonorous voice!
I could listen to him for hours - no matter what he says.... 😏

Chissà quanti gli altri brani potevano portare al successo nel tutti Contenti ! Peccato , che in, Italia non sono venuti mai , avrebbero conquistato anche gli italiani .🇮🇹
Temo , che ormai dobbiamo rinunciare questo evento., però ci sono tanti cantanti , che la soglia di 50 anni di carriera ,, stanno facendo il tournée.
