I like the idea of the open hand slap on the chest to make rude angry strangers calm down. I have never tried it myself, but I believe it is good because it is not a lethal strike. Nevertheless I am worried with one question to you, is it possible for the rude stranger to make him more angry at me if I do this? That I wouldn't like to happen.
