One thing I can't figure out is why the animator inserted a picture of Saturn over the word "uranium." This element, of course, got its name from the planet Uranus, which the animator should have used there instead.

Now imagine an update with elements 103-118 (Lawrencium to Oganesson)

She also showed the soft picture to do awkwardly

I remember watching this in my class back then (2011).

Classic. I remember my chemistry teacher challenging the class to try and SING this, and if anyone successfully did so they would automatically get an A and not have to show up to class 🤣

There are 102 elements in the song and 110 including the end screen. I keep on being told I'm wasting my life but I'm not sure why.

On NCIS, Abby Sciuto played this song and gleaned clues to a plot, from the atomic numbers in it. The script writers never acknowledged Lehrer. Sounds to me like he had grounds to sue.

Tom Lehrer must truly be some mad Genius.
I understand that after a few years of turning out fantastically funny and clever songs, doing some touring and making a bunch of money, he disappeared to spend the next few decades teaching math at Stanford.
