This shows how music could bring us together. Now, imagine singing in the Heavenly Choir...Ahhhh
ОтветитьIt is lovely to hear people playing
ОтветитьThat’s one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen
ОтветитьBobby McFerrin. The man, the myth, the legend!
Ответить-What is Your favorite instrument?
-Audience...
XD
This guy invented Jacob Collier.
ОтветитьAnyone know the song he joins in with?
ОтветитьTi amo.
ОтветитьBobby McFerrin...pure genius.
ОтветитьI once went to a loft part where him and Linda Ronstadt did a performance. They kept joking they weren’t ‘that linda and Bobby’. Halfway through they got a phone call, and had to leave. The roads were frozen, so I don’t know where they went
ОтветитьThe best part is you don’t need suite and boots to show people who you are….Just be!
Ответить“If you’re looking for a job in neuroscience…“ All musicians are neuroscientists. He already has a job in neuroscience.
ОтветитьAmazing🎉
Ответитьgreat talent
ОтветитьThe cool thing about this demonstration is the science of music needs no translation. No matter the language, any group watching this will understand it.
ОтветитьThe thought process that goes into that, the idea of actually wanting your audience to engage and do, to make the subject the focus and give away centre stage.
Legend of a man.
My every morning in local bakery 😂 papa pa papa pa
ОтветитьAmazing video! Something else I've noticed is that you can have an audience full of individuals who are completely tone-deaf, yet when they all sing together, they collectively have perfect pitch.
ОтветитьMakes me soooo happy...what a ledgend
ОтветитьJust had the reminder from Joe Scott of this phenomenal phenomenon, and had to watch it again. It's just so beautiful a thing to watch and hear.
ОтветитьIn these very vulnerable situations where a whole crowd is singing together in a unified way, a lot of people laugh or misdirect, and I think that might show how some people push down a lot of our true feelings for a more comfortable lifestyle.
Every time I watch this it makes me think about something new, love this video.
😮 impresionante
ОтветитьThis blows my mind. Even a non musically inclined person can keep up with this in time. How do we all know this and don't recognize its power!!!???
ОтветитьLegend 🔥🔥🔥
ОтветитьAmazing
ОтветитьPossibly the greatest video ever
ОтветитьBrilliant!! ;)
ОтветитьEs impresionante cómo Bobby puede ser capaz de hacer cantar a públicos de cientos y hasta de miles de personas. Ahora de manera espontánea la gente canta en la escala pentatónica, siguiendo las tonalidades que les transmite Bobby.
Ответитьgenius
ОтветитьWholesome ❤
Ответитьthins brings a tear to my eye and I don't know why. Its remarkable.
ОтветитьAmazing
Ответитьso fun,
ОтветитьSensacional, simplesmente espetacular!
Ответить💜
ОтветитьHe's a jazz singer.
ОтветитьUnreal. And a great demonstration. (Bobby McFerrin is one of my favorite people) How Bobby noticed this or came by it baffles me. I've been in music all my life and never realized that a pentatonic scale is imprinted in us.
ОтветитьInteresting enough, I tried replicating this at my home with family and got different results. They intuitively followed a major diatonic scale instead of a pentatonic. This happened because I didnt go to the sixth degree below the tonic before going up again. This is a nice experiment because it teaches us how giving certain instructions to the audience hands us different results depending on the instruction. Sorry if Im not very clear. It's late in the evening 😅
ОтветитьDam that melody was really good. Simple but really good, did he make that on the spot or is that an actual song?
ОтветитьBobby McFerrin is one of the most creative musicians in history.
ОтветитьThere is something... primal about this. Reading many of the comments, it seems to hit some untapped 'thing' in our core! An Astounding and emotional demonstration that I never tire of watching.
ОтветитьGenius
ОтветитьThe way he lets the audience sing the next note in the scale without singing it first is genius.
ОтветитьSomebody knows that song name?
Ответитьthat's how musicians without knowing the theory write their music, the just feel it.
ОтветитьThis never gets old - "plays with the audience" indeed
ОтветитьAlso.....One man can control an entire crowd of strangers.
ОтветитьProof that we all have music in us! Each one of us. Thanks, Bobby 🙏🏼
ОтветитьMakes me cry every time wow
ОтветитьGenius
