I disagree. I think it is possible to measure a guitarist. Hook them up to recording software, record them inside the DAW, and then measure the transient waves. You can scale it, you can zoom in on it, and you can measure it.

I am not very fast, I can play 100 bpm with 1/16 continously.
But for me this is hard to play.

I can play faster, but not continously and not clean.
I want to improve to 180 bpm, but that's the limit for me,
because faster makes no sence.

Your songs will not be better if you are faster than that, I think.
Why 180, because there are not many songs that are faster than 180 bpm.
