Love you Karen❤❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьI’ve said this before (sorry). CEE should have your own paint colour for re-manufactured parts. It’s a good way to advertise your value to the industry without paying for advertising.
ОтветитьI am not a machinist but these videos are absolutely fascinating to me!
ОтветитьI turned off TV and got hooked watching this craftsman at work.
ОтветитьThe fact that Curtis is a machinist, mechanic, engineer, and Disney princess is just awesome.
ОтветитьLove the videos and the craftsmanship! Very clever solutions. I did wonder about the edge geometry on some of your tools, I am thinking they are not made for cast iron due to the long spaghetti versus manageable chips? Especially the 4mm parting tool.
ОтветитьCurtis is AMAZING ! Is there ANYTHING that he doesn't know how to do ? Mesmerizing !
I'd bet that he could make the Space Shuttle in his shop !
Is that done by design not tightening all 3 jaw teeth just one? i would think it would make it off kilter as shown when you start cutting
ОтветитьТы просто крут парень!!!!
ОтветитьHow much $ is a new one compared to what you paid for the old one and all your time etc?
ОтветитьI’ll never complain about my cylinder rebuild costs again
Ответитьno flow of cutting oil ?
ОтветитьWait, didn't you have this huge vertical honing machine?
Ответитьuntuk pekerjaan ini yang tidak menyenangkan adalah tabung depan menyusut ketika di las.
ОтветитьIt pays to watch a video of someone repairing something this heavy and awkward to realized why it costs so much to get fixed or replaced. Prevention is the name of the game in heavy equipment I guess if you want to be an affordable contractor. Thank you for the videos and whomever is doing the filming (wife?). Her pans are slow and focused and the editing resulting in an easy to follow story from beginning to end.
ОтветитьNerves of STEEL! Measure it and cut it to length, I would have had to check that measurement at least forty times before I could cut it. Great stuff!!!!! Real fuckin PRO man!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьIm watching them out of order. You did end up getting a pretty cool sand blasting unit after all 😀
ОтветитьAs someone who has tons of cylinders on various pieces of equipment I find this very interesting.
Building and repairing cylinders is so tedious, great video.
Куртис скажите почему вы работаете один?
ОтветитьLegend
ОтветитьHaha. Nice few Outro minutes there 😂😂
ОтветитьSaint Kurtis of AsSydney😂😂
ОтветитьAs a long-time manufacturing engineer for Caterpillar I'd say that all of this was brilliantly done.
Ответитьouttakes LOL such fun. great to watch how you set things up but also fix them. such. fun. great
vIdeos, thanks!
Where do you get the Strap Magnets that throw the straps onto the forklift arms ?
That must save a ton of time
by the way i dont know so asking , knowledge is power
Ответитьjust a question , whyface of the end caps whe it bolts together , would not that not up the pressure in the cylinder !!!!!
Ответить10 layers of weld on approx a 8 - 10 inch barrel in 30 minutes, what am I missing 😊
ОтветитьHi CEE legends, love the show and I’m fascinated by the fabrication. I don’t know the first thing about what you do but one question I’m curious about is why do you sometimes use coolant and other times you don’t when you’re doing lathe work?
ОтветитьI cannot get over how flipping awesome the quality of the editing of these videos are. The camera work is exceptional. I have been binge watching this channel since I found it.
ОтветитьSo VERY interesting...
ОтветитьI watched part 1 as well. Thinking: With all this effort to refurbish, machine, and replace damaged parts, Isn't it less expensive to just buy a complete new assembly?
Well, this question was answered in Part 3. It is indeed far less expensive to rebuild this damaged cylinder than buying a new one.
GREAT WORK!!!!!
Curtis my dad was a tool and die maker for 25 years of his 49 year life. I know that if he could watch what you do he would be amazed at your journeyman skills in everything you do there. Your video assistant is excellent and the family pet is over the moon precious. Much love from Sparks, Nevada USA for what you do there.
Ответить1: 51 F*CK OFF TRAIN, :-d
Ответитьเก่งคับ
ОтветитьFascinating and very impressive From someone who did this on a much smaller scale many years ago.
ОтветитьHow did you learn how to do all this, so impressive!
Ответить1,2,3 and Bob's your uncle. You make it look simple. Nice job.
ОтветитьThat bird sing is beautiful.
ОтветитьSo I have a question. I am by no means a machinist, but I have noticed that it seems like some of the cutting operations don’t require lubricants and some do. Is there a reason for this? I always assumed cutting lubricants was the norm. I am by no means telling any one how to do their job just curious
ОтветитьHomeless has just messaged me cus he's fed up now and wants to live in Shropshire down by the River Teme and play with pheasants, squirrels and go for long walks everyday in the forest.
So you'd better sort his passport and visa stuff out now . He's had enough of the stink of coolant and oil and wants to make friends with loads of other dogs . So there matey!
You are doing a great job man. You have simultaneously big parts and tight tolerances, wow!
ОтветитьYour usually so safety conscious but sand blasting without a mask is bloody daft
ОтветитьGreat filming!!
ОтветитьLook at the Beautiful Chinese Parting tool Cutting Edge is using - Made in the CPC all over it - Aussies can't make Parting tools like the Chinese - that's a Really Nice No Wait ... WOW is that North Korean Parting tool Cutting Edge is using?
ОтветитьThat is a Nice parting tool - I bet you slept with that under your pillow the night you opened the packet - That is one Nice Chinese Parting Tool
