Mate I finally made some time to set this up.
There is a MASSIVE FLAW that you did not mention in this video.
You see, the high rev warning light comes up exactly as you demonstrated. The flaw bit is:
everytime I stop at a red light now, when the lights turn green I need to get these warning lights flashing before I can change gear.
And then in the next gear the same. In other words I am unable to change gears unless the lights are flashing.
Just so no one gets me wrong. The motorcycle will comply, there is nothing wrong with the gear box.
The massive flaw is to do with the rider. I want to see this warning light flashing, everytime, or no gear change, rev higher, not enough, make it blink faster, rev even higher..
People have been warned, you will get the 'blink addiction' (TM).
hahahahahaha .. lol man.. 😆
This feature is also on the Honda CB300R.
I set the rev limit low for running it in for the first 500 kms.
I got my bike 2 years now and i didnt know about that light on the right, lol. thanks!
Ответитьlike cb650
ОтветитьPlease help me what is the 1st step for changing the tachometer display hehe because I can't change my tachometer display even though I followed your instructions which is press the SELECT button, It only toggles the Avg. Fuel consumption in trip A &B and more. Thanks in advance
ОтветитьStill seaching my cb650r...
ОтветитьJust found a CB650R of year 2019, getting it after transfer next week. Will play with that. Thanks for the video. ☺️
ОтветитьThis function is annoying af😂
ОтветитьThat light would be useful only at the highest RPM for people who... cannot hear the bike? RPM light is more for cars i believe, because the driver might not be able to hear the engine? But a bike... dude, they're loud. How can anybody not hear, that the bike is hitting the rev limiter? Or maybe if the biker has pro-grade ear plugs? Or listening to music, maybe?
ОтветитьThat is the REV Limiter, Honda want not Customers know it.
A brandnew Bike is limited and by the Guarantee Service, they give the Limiter free to 12'500 rpm
Hey did you have an OEM seat cowl?
ОтветитьI love the face mask on your headlight 😆
ОтветитьBro what is that screen in your left handlebar, it shows your camera POV?
ОтветитьHi got my brand new cb650r, same colour and just set to 6000, as I need to run in, great information, cheers, check my video, new one coming tomorrow with extras fitted. Happy new year!
ОтветитьI've ordered same bike today. What are these crash pads? Some particular brand?
ОтветитьCool adjustability, I want that bike.
ОтветитьThis could be very cool feature for newer riders, set it lower so you know to shift up before bike shoots up. It could help for newer rider to get used to bike.
ОтветитьWhat rear cowl do you have?
ОтветитьJust bought a CBR 650R (2022) and your video has been really helpful.. Thanks.. Love from India.. Ride Hard, Ride Safe...
ОтветитьMate, off topic: what vlogging set up you using?
ОтветитьMoral of the Story, Read the Manuel
ОтветитьIs there an app that can connect to the bike via bluetooth for telemetry monitoring?
ОтветитьHow to set time? Thanks
ОтветитьBTW.. did you wanna do a collab? I think that may be a cool idea...
ОтветитьI think that rev indicator is only useful during the first hundreds of kilometers of the break-in period, and especially for those who want to abide strictly to the instructions and want to avoid having the engine running above 5000 rpm in the first 500 km.
ОтветитьNice vid! What is the brand of your "tail tidy"?
ОтветитьCool but wish it flashed red or have multi colours
ОтветитьLed headlight spread too poor? ( Can see Only a horizontal line in videos)
ОтветитьI pressed and hold sel button for 30 seconds and it doesn't start blinks the tachometer and the Rev light, anyone can tell me how to fix it
ОтветитьI didn’t touch mine it blinks when your bouncing off redline. It’s a Honda 12800 is just recommended! Now that I can hammer on mine it’s time to upgrade I’m eyeing up the cb1000r now!
ОтветитьWhat's that device om the left of your handle bar beside the control panel?
ОтветитьAwsome video, I knew how to do everything but I never knew about the Rev counter settings, thanks for the information lol
ОтветитьNice one, just changed mine 👍
ОтветитьWhat is that tiny screen on your left bar handle ?
Ответить'read the instructions' is something I'd tell a younger me!
ОтветитьHeavy indian accent, mouth breather... Thumbs down.
ОтветитьHi thanks for the video. I have just been into garage and reconfigured my dash. Well happy cheers mate !!!!
Ответитьbro what brand of camera did you use?
ОтветитьThanks for your reviews.... I am planning to to upgrade (I am 5.5 )from KTM 390 (I have spent lowering the the height of the bike) to CBR650R...what is your height (are you comfortable to reach the ground) or do I need spend on lower kit ... appreciate if could let me know
ОтветитьBoss gaji minimum 3k sesuai tak angkat moto ni?
ОтветитьBeautiful
ОтветитьI feel that any type of flashing light is a distraction.
ОтветитьThis is fantastic.. I was thinking to do a review of the tech in my CB650R, I'll credit you for talking about this..
Ответитьonly for the facelift?
Ответитьvery cool features. Thanks for the video - will make some of these changes on my bike
ОтветитьThese features are all explained at the delivery of the bike from Honda sales
ОтветитьAll 650R have this function. My dealership showed me how to use it when I bought my bike 2 years ago. I used it a lot for the breaking in period (6000 rpm max for 1000km) and now I have set it up to blink when approaching redline. But you can set it up for mileage too ! Really useful feature and thanks for the video ;)
ОтветитьHey man,
Can you please give me the link to your seat cowl ? That looks really nice and the silver on it matches nicely
Great info bro . What can do you use and that is tha display on the bike
ОтветитьI've read about it in the manual but never really understood what it was for. Thanks for this!🙂
Btw, what's your regular peak rpm?
