What's sup Adam, I definitely liked these great tips. I'm from Flint, Michigan but now I live in Atlanta, Georgia following my dreams. I'm a new coming independent recording gospel artist. I got my first album called ''In This Place" already out on every platform with some songs. So refreshing to watch, I’ve been on and off with my music career for years and have found it hard in the past to pursue. I think for me brand development and social media has been the hardest. It’s difficult to keep people engaged in what you do and it’s hard when you don’t have the natural charisma but I agree we just need to be ourselves. Thanks Adam for the inspiration and motivation! I have given up trying to promote my music. If you don't have a lot of money or know powerful people in the music industry you don't have a chance. I have released 190 singles since 2018 on all platforms and I have achieved the whooping monthly listeners in Spotify of 7. 😂😂.
And don't come and tell me you have to produce good quality music in order to make it because it is ridiculous.
By watching the music at the very top in listeners in Spotify you can easily realize that producing good quality music is the least important thing you need to make it big in the music industry.😢

I’ve been producing since I could walk. I’m 36 years old now and haven’t made a penny working for my dream.. it has been the craziest thing to think about, that I am either more talented than most ppl I come in contact with on a daily basis, yet I don’t make nearly as much money as them and struggle.
Oh yea, I forgot to mention, I was addicted to drugs my entire 20s which led me to prison for 5 years!!

Is it so much to ask to simply support your family with something you love to do? I’m not even greedy.. I just want financial stability and to reach the world with my beats!
I mean my beats ARE THE NEXT BIG BREAKTHROUGH!!
If there anyone here that can point me in the right direction… I just want to provide for my 1 year old and start my career!!
