I was watching "Euphoria" and this song was played by Kelsey Lu in one of the episodes, and I HAD to look for the original...it just brings me back to my late teens. It was a time when you could recognize one artist from the other...nowdays everybody pretty much sounds the same, with some exceptions...😕

And 49 years later I am listening, with earplugs, to this same song that was played on all those little radios, this time on a chilly winter night. But the song is still magical.

This song makes me tear up. He so obviously is in love; but he can’t say it. It’s a genius way to show what is unable to be admitted. And the whirlwind of hushed nostalgia in sound. Too Real and Pure for the cold light of day.

I always hoped she understood and that they would end up solid, together. (What gal would not want a love song so intense and vulnerable.)

One of my favorite songs. is it clearer this way?

When I first heard it on the car radio in 1975, I was immediately captivated. To this day when I play that song, I close my eyes and let the mood take me back there for a few minutes. It's such a feeling that is difficult to describe.

I was 10 in 1975. I didn't understand the song then but I always liked the sound. Now, I regard it as one of the best songs of all time. It never ages and never will. Just gorgeous.

I was 12 when this song came out. I had a paper route and a basket on my bike and in that basket I had a radio. I remember throwing the paper on this song coming out. Now every time I close my eyes and hear the song it takes me back to those days of me throwing that paper. Awesome memories!

49 years later and this song still hits different. Truly a masterpiece.

A Manchester band, they had a recording studio near where I lived called Strawberry Studios, so many other amazing bands recorded there too. This song has to be one of the most beautiful love songs ever, 10cc were one of England's best bands, in my opinion.
