The Monarchy died with Elizabeth II. Hence we now have King Chuckles and his SideChick 😂😂😂
ОтветитьI've been telling people that in "Kidnapped" I'd be on David Balfour's political side, the folk his nevertheless very good Highland friends called "Whigs", that using the name Charles for a British King is tempting Fate, if not the Furies. But if it's a Monty Python thing, perhaps there's nothing to worry about.
ОтветитьI’m with John here 😂. It was like a Wallace and Gromit show😂😂😂
ОтветитьAlways loved the Pyrhon stuff, which was so off-the-wall wacky. Later on, I discovered the history satire series "Blackadder". !!
ОтветитьI only watched it because of midnight diarrhea. I also thought it Pythonesque 😊
ОтветитьArchbishops a wonderful person????? Eh??? 😅😅hes evil.
ОтветитьSo, John Cleese has lost his sense of humour and turned into a bitter old “know it all”.
ОтветитьThe Americans "Wrote Basil out"? Wow! The entire show WAS about Basil.
I wonder how Fauwlty Towers would do if Canadians got the rights to produce it.
“We’ve written Basil out” 😭😭😭
ОтветитьNo offence to Cleese, but the best sitcom to ever come out of Britain is Father Ted.
Ответитьi almost never laugh but was almost rolling on the floor in wanda when he keeps shooting the old woman's dogs. i can't think of anything worse than to lose mine. why was i laughing, horror, hysteria. i kept fish and the same thing was true in that scene.
ОтветитьAs funny and silly these blue-blooded Crownsfolks might look, they're still humans performing certain roles they didn't get to choose at birth. They deserve our empathy and understanding, and above all, our mockery. Institutions won't grant them the chance to be treated as equals.
But in our allmitghty peasantry, we should still try and give them the opportunity to pretend they're human. Please, be empathetic towards the blue-bloodeds.
Sadly John cleese has become more and more of a bitter old man, cynical in everything he talks about.
Ответить"Jesus Christ, Lust for Glory" 😂
I wish the did a spoof of Mel Gibson's snuff film called, Monty Python's Passion of the Christ in which Jesus and Pilate have an exchange in Pilate's court much like the exchange between Dennis and King Arthur outside the Marxian commune's castle in MP&THG.
I always took the narrative of Holy Grail to be a perfect metaphor for the way that the Arthur stories were just a compilation of unrelated stories that ended with the heroes fallen and the goal unfulfilled.
ОтветитьConk city
ОтветитьIt’s true, Disney messed up. Star Wars did not take any advice from George Lucas, and they went to merry way, which turned out to be a huge disappointment.
ОтветитьI would KILL to see, "Jesus Christ: Lust for Glory" with the original gang in their prime.
ОтветитьThat's monarchy for you!
ОтветитьHave to admit the Coronation wasn't a show of Royaltiy it was messy untidy and King Charles look untidy too , it looked like a mock up I'm sorry to say after the Queens coranotion so laughable !
