That's got to be one of the most brutal deaths a Star Trek captain has ever inflicted.

What I find it strange is that after Xindi attacks Earth, why didn't they start R&D stronger ground-based weapons? They have a strong advantage of using enormous amounts of energy to power a powerful phasers. Also, why not arm several civilian ships and construct small military spacecrafts?

The look of smug disdain on Archer's face after he literally incinerates Dolim; as if to say "That's what you get, bitch," is one of my favorite moments in all of Star Trek.

Such a missed opportunity. I wish Archer had pushed the button with his middle finger instead. Sure the alien probably wouldn't have understood the significance, but it would have been savage nonetheless.

I like the little detail that while the Reptilian is initially much stronger than Archer, he has next to no stamina, which is a real-life drawback of cold-blooded animals. Archer just had to stay alive long enough for him to tire himself out and get sluggish.

When will the bad guys learn not to have railings everywhere for the good guys to grab onto and save themselves everytime?

A real badass moment for Archer.

However, I feel it would've been better to end this with the sequence from "Storm Front, Part II" in which Daniels shows Archer the timeline resetting itself/the Temporal Cold War ending with the destruction of the weapon and the spheres and saying goodbye instead of starting that Space-Nazi story in alternate WWII and also start season 4 with the story of "Home" and then proceed with the Augments trilogy.

Heroic yes. Stupid because Reed would have been much better choice for this to be left behind because of his knowledge of the devices / explosives being used and his tactical and physical skill? Also yes.
