Gardening 101: How To Start A Garden

Not sure if its too early but, I'm 3 years old. And considering squash and potaters. Could use some insight. 😢

What about dog poop to compose?

Weeding tip from an old timer: Every few days, take 3 minutes to scrape the surface of the soil with a hoe. This will kill most of young weeds and keep them in control.

You know, it really doesn't seem like it's worth. It I spenthat probably $300 on turn, um, raised. Bags of soil want to mention other things. And what did I get for it? I'm dying. Yeah, I gotta grow a bunch of um. Grow a bunch of beans and only sprouted once. I got maybe 5 or 6 tomatoes. Thrbe cucumbers, 5 zucchinis 23 squashes. I don't know, man.
The diminishing returns really apply here. Seems like it's better just to go to a organic produce market. Raised bed

Great info. I'm retired and started a garden last year. Didn't do good. My zucchini got a LOT of squash bugs. My tomatoes did okay. This year I started zucchini, again, and tomatoes, added cantaloupe to the garden. We live in the southern portion of the country, so we have a long growing season. Thanks for all the great info.
